Thanks. Out of the 2 hussar regiments in the brigade I couldn't not pick the ones with red trousers 😀

Nicely done, agree with Phil that the Stretlet poses are dynamic, the falling horse in particular looks well animated.

Thanks. Yes I do like the dramatic poses of strelets figures. Will have to see what the infantry are like but the Highlanders and Turkish infantry were ok.

Fantastic. This is a period I'm sorely tempted by. Mid - Late Victorian is a great period.

Many thanks, I do like the poses. I am looking forward to doing the Russians, strelets do 6 different types 😀

Absolutely stunning. Can you do a video on preping the figure for painting as I have heard that paint can come off easy from softer plastic miniatures.

Many thanks. I may do a video on my painting process but my basic treatment is...wash the figures with soapy water. Once dry make a 50/50 mix of vallejo mat black and pva glue. This is the undercoat. Once painted I use vallejo Matt varnish. So far no paint chipping off. Hope this helps

Hope to see more of this project, which rules are you using, and as a seldom covered conflict at least on youtube, what is your recommended source material if give a run through of that would be awesome. Happy to swoop some notes about all that if you like. I'm just starting up on this conflict too, so great stuff :)

I am thinking of using black powder rules for my figures, Blackpowder version 1 has a nice battle report based on Alma. I purchased a couple of Osprey books.. Balaclava and Inkerman. Nice books with detailed maps.

@@scotty7906 Bookwise as some cheap easy to get options, there's a channel 4 book by Paul Kerr with an over view of the conflict and also I've seen the Destruction of Lord Raglan is highly recomended, and a Wargame Guide to the Crimean War by Partizan Press. Look forward to your next posting.
