@@twistedthrottle8513 I don't disagree. But every drag race does the first 1/8th mile. Some just shut down after that, some keep going for another! But once you get to the 1/8th, it's about who has deeper pockets. It's all hp after that. Launch/tune/setup is the first half, more skill based.

@@Sawsquatch for street chassis it is quite fast xD remember its not top fuel.... they may have big v8's and a shitton of nitrous and boost, but its not a ridicolous compression nitro car that weighs 1000kg with 1500hp pushing it xD a top fuel dragster does like 3.6-4s passes. so a 6-7s in a street chassis is damn good :p

Yeah I’ve been hounding them about it. I don’t know why I feel so strongly against it. I just feel like it’s early days and they should change it. The obviously haven’t replied. And it’s a very different idea. But cars none the less.

It's similar only in the fact that it's a factory. Straight lines and smoke stacks. Other then being a different shape buildings and different amounts of stacks in what ways do you think they should be distinguished? I get it that at some level they are similar, but so is a Ford Taurus and a Bugatti Chiron at some level.

Or do you have some examples that can't just as easily be claimed by someone to be a copy of something already done in the past? No real need to wait for a response as everything done is a copy of something done in the past in some way. The VK looks like A european Opel Senator

Yes! This body style of commodore came out in i think 78 or 79 originally? It was based on a combination of opel rekord and senator styling but underneath the chassis ended up quite different since it was designed for australian conditions (rough outback roads) and i6 and v8 engines. The original model of this body type is the VB commodore, then it went to VC then VH then VK which you see here. The final version of this body style was the VL which had quite a differently styled front end and is famous for being fitted with the nissan RB30 engine.

I think the transmission Case has all the strength built into it and they are certified, it still looks sketchy as

A reid case is about 3/4 of an inches thick, a piece of sheet metal isn't going to do anything if the case doesn't stop it

There are specific drag racing transmission cases that are rated so that you don't need to run a scatter shield or tunnel. If it was a normal factory casing then you are right, it would not pass tech unless it had a scatter shield (unless its just a slow car which is close to stock).
