I have had the truck for 4 years it hold its own against any other name brand I have. I kept the stock ESC only had to upgrade the motor after about a year. shimming the diffs is a must it has been a great truck

The low voltage cut off is already programmed on the ESC by the factory, if you want to run NIMH batteries with the truck then you'll have to disable the setting on the ESC.

@astout76 The gears in the diff are metal and the drive gear in the transmission if I remember correctly are metal. The spur that came on my truck was plastic and I switch it for the optional steel spur gear.

@astout76 The only think that I don't like on the truck is the spur gear, but we do offer a metal spur gear on the truck. Other than that I haven't broken anything on the truck yet.

Yes you can put a Mamba Monster brushless setup in the Mad Beast.

They probably do, just go to their website, click to buy the product, check in your cart. Proceed, then where you can write you card number and stuff, there you also choose which country you want the toy to be shipped to. If your country is on the list they ship it there too. Hope it helps.

its a good truck i got one about 4 weeks ago only problem ive had is with the gear box lock tight fixed that. it has soft metal screws but it is solid for the most part i have some problems with the controler (hard time reversing) but its fast and very powerful (maybe 40-45mph out of the box not sure)servo sucks but its a good buy for 350 compared to the the savage thats 700 but the two are not compatable at all it looks like the savage but is Not! :) still a good buy

First off it would beat your mini slash by a long shot and second off it's a great truck but with $100 worth if upgrades the thing will be better than a savage flux and be a good $200 less! Would recommend it especially the nitro one!!!

exceed actually has some good shit. i got a car and crawler and i want this now. their plastics pretty flexibal. its def no rpm but it is flexi and the only reason i dont wana sell my second e-maxx and get this is becuase im scared they will go out of stock of parts and ill never fix a prob. and the upgrades are only limited to them

I'm in the market for a new truck, this looks fun/fast. But i have been researching the "durability" of this truck. Some places put a bad review on the "brittleness" of the parts. Has this been addressed? I will NOT be doing anything EXTREME! like 50 foot jumps, cliff dives and smashing into things, but i do expect the NORMALtear/tumbles from taking it to the local park. Is this truck able to handle that?

I got it 3 minutes broke body and all the post bumper but I love this truck going to put hobby wing 150 amp esc and motor and go 6s and try to get aluminium parts

@idiotparade1 Those are actually the same plugs used by all major manufactures to transfer power with there brushless systems. There some of the best you can use.

I would like this truck ASAP...had a HPI 2350 (kept breaking, literally every run something plastic would break) Can you direct me specifically to the all-metal; gears, shock tower and better torque servo.thank you for your help! On website the basic description says "metal" gears included...is this NOT true then about spur? confused Seriously, cant keep playing with my HPI cause it keeps breaking breaking (+reliable drivetrain, motor/esc and TVP, - everything else!) @darrenshan300 e-maxx is a better truck. but for the money this is nice this truck will have no aftermarket support for upgrades other than nitrorcx. and this does only support 4s lipo. but thats enough the e-maxx $600 will take 6s and the e-maxx has multiple brands that have upgrades for each area millions of options

The servo rating actually wrong as you only converted straight weights/mass and not the distance as well. A 9kg servo means a 9kg-cm which converted to standard oz-in is actually 124 oz-in. So that servo is severely underpowered for that scale of vehicle, but is to be expected for a RTR and at that price point.

I herd the plastic is really cheap and it breaks on the smallest jumps is this true or has that been upgraded. I'm really interested in buying one but if the plastic is really thats cheap. Not really. In most cases anymore Electric is is for more advanced drivers. You have the Lipo Batts, Programmable ESC's, Radio systems, Gearing, Wiring, Plus the speed is faster in most Electric versions compared to the Nitro Version(If they even have a nitro version).
