It's Like practising the solution over and over to get a faster time than the one you got first

A downsolve is when you already know the solution or it's a known good scramble and you do your own solution. In this case he got a 2.15s solve (must not be on camera) and so then he has done the downsolve to show the reconstruction. He has not practiced it over and over and that is not necessary for it to be a downsolve.

@josh-speedcuber down solving is not the first solve done on the scram. It is a retry. First time Yiheng did the scram, it was a 2.15. It was off cam tho, so Yiheng is down solving it to show how he did his solution, and give you some idea of how fast the solve was to an extent
