Shouldn't you expand the brackets on the bottom at the end?

You can, but don't need to. Expanded or factorised form are equivalent to each other and both acceptable.

What's the overlap with the OCR add maths and Cambridge Add maths?

From what I can see (I do not know the Cambridge qualification well), Cambridge IGCSE Add Maths has a little more on Functions (especially modulus functions), different parts of logs and exponentials (introducing the natural logarithm and e, but not having graphs with logarithmic scales), a little more on trigonometry (e.g. the use of radians), sequences and series, vectors, and gets slightly further within Calculus (differentiating a few more types of function). OCR Add maths has more on numerical methods (such as iteration, estimating gradients of and areas under curves), more on inequalities on graphs, more on probability (binomial distribution). There is probably around 80% overlap (very rough estimate), and both qualifications will prepare you very well for maths beyond GCSE.
