My boy is 17. He is trying to get through this math class so he can graduate in December. He goes 1\2 days. This year his teacher is at the public library teaching the problem children. So that leaves my boy with a P.E.teacher and a math teacher. He is asking for help from all 3 and keeps getting told, "just do your best". I graduated 40 years ago. I can't remember this stuff. Yeah, It's not incorrect, it's incomplete. You have to keep going and multiply 3 by x-2, do the operations and you have a remainder of 12, so your answer would be "2x+3+12/x-2"
