"Treat your body the age you want to be." Hit me straight in the wow, totally makes sense. Don't give in to the, "I don't feel like it, I'm tired, I don't want to" voice and feeling in our head and body. We are not the voice and we are not our body. Let the truth of who we are rule over our mind and body. Eat, drink, breath and move occording to the age you want to be. I'm inspired to overcome and heal from nearly 6 decades of an unhealthy, toxic lifestyle. I'm tired and sad and in pain all of the time. Left to the timeline I've been on I will not survive another five years tops. I'm not ready to die yet just because I didn't develop my will power to the level that it takes to eat for substance vs pleasure and entertainment, because I couldn't turn off netflix and go for a walk instead. Yesterday was day 200 no alcohol and weed for me after a 26 year love-hate relationship with it. It was also day one of meat only and a two mile walk. One step in front of the other on this journey towards healing. Thank you for your inspiration and guidance.

This dude put it in a way that just made so much sense. I'm about to turn 60 and things aren't so flash. I have swollen feet and ankles and have to get around on crutches....and yet i have had no physical injury. I started on carnivore 3 months ago and have dropped 8 KG which is great, I almost immediately got rid of these red splotchy marks that had been appearing all over my body for a couple of years and gradually becoming more and more. That I am thankful for. But the swelling in my feet seems to remain the same. I am not as big as some others on this carnivore journey but I am big enough to cringe when I see my reflection in a shop window. Maybe I left it all too late, I don't know. But I am having a good old go and will keep having a good old go. The best thing I found about this carnivore diet is that I have been able to give up potato chips for the first time as far back as I remember.....and not to want them. It's amazing to not crave the thing that was my most favourite thing to eat for as far back as I can remember. I still get hungry at times and so I always now keep a stash of small cut pieces of pre-cooked meat in the fridge...because I had found that if I didn't I may attack the families snack foods. Hopefully one day they will become carnivore also.

People with lymphoedema are deficient in arginine and have a bad ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids (too much seed oils). With my husband (he had interstitial edema) I got him on arginine and off all seed oils and eating butter. After 2 &1/2 months he started to get rid of the water. #51 in 3 weeks. Lipedema is different. That has to do with a selenium deficiency. Estrogen is stored in fat because lacking selenium to process estrogen in the liver. Also low in vitamin D. Hope this will help you.

Super video and super interview. Having worked in the chicken industry I literally would eat carbs before eating any chicken. Now 90% beef with rest made up with pork belly. I so go with everything he says. I see it all around me with people nearly giving up on life and wanting others to care for them. And yes the body does shut down when you stop using it as it should be. I gave up driving a car nearly 7 years ago and I cycle and walk everywhere now both for work shopping and leisure. One of the biggest thing that has me on this lifestyle is that I do not want to be a burden on my two boys when I get older. So I am doing my level best to regrow my telomeres. I am totally shocked by people around me that kind of want an ailment so that you can feel sorry for them. I do not get this way of thinking. Super to see you back with your wonderful videos and super to see you have not gone the extremist route of this wonderful lifestyle that a lot have gone recently. I'm a runner and on Keto for 4 years, now on carnivore since 1st Jan. The "some people don't metabolize fat very well" really resonates with me as Keto for me is not the best diet for endurance sports. I run better on carbs. None the less, I'm more interested in health so I have sacrificed performance for better health and stayed on Keto. Now that I have switched to carnivore, it seems actually pretty good for running... better than Keto. Moving from low carbs to no carbs was as hard as going from normal diet to Keto in case anyone is wondering.! Will need a few more months before I know for sure.

Great news. I've been using filtered water for many years and have a Brita Filter pitcher in the fridge. I think it's the flouride-chlorine used to scrub toxins and bacteria like e-coli from the water that you've removed from your drinking water that did the trick. I'd like a filter for my shower to remove these from shower water which is worse because the chemicals can enter the skin pores easily and you breathe it in during the shower. I know there are reverse osmosis filters that can be installed in the front of a water pipe supplying an entire house-hold to make all the water used at home much cleaner.

Dark orange egg joke mostly is influenced by colour added to food pallets. When I was a child, I was going to my grandparents on every spring and summer vocation, where I was given eggs to eat everyday, the egg joke was sunny yellow, never orange. Chickens were forging freely all day and their diet was supplemented with maybe a handful of organic grain in the morning. I am always suspicious of orange egg jokes. Fortunately I found eggs from pastured raised hens here in Victoria, Australia like from my grandmother in Poland 😊

When I was young I heard you get a certain number of heartbeats for your lifetime. Slower resting heartbeat equals potential longer life. Perhaps enzymes, or the process of creating them, is likewise finite? Lifetime may be maximized by minimizing meals. Urolithin A makes your mitochondria happy. That's almost every single cell in your body, each happily contributing to the total health. Red blood cells just have to keep being made by the cells that make your red blood cells being happy. "Treat your body the age that you want to be." Absolutely brilliant!

He did say it depends what type of chicken, didn't he... Most is cruelly produced & toxic to eat stuff... But organic & genuine field eating chickens, create fairly safe food. (Bearing in mind the other risks he referred to...from production or packaging systems... But hey, unless we have our own chickens, what can we do). Always better to get / delivered from smaller good farms, than supermarkets if course.

About the color of eggs, I have been informed by research that usually an orange colored yolk means that the hen has been fed, mostly corn, which obviously is not good. I have been led to believe that the yellow colored yolk is more in line with an organic and natural diet That the hen has been consuming. I can see this plainly when I buy organic eggs they are more yellow, but when I buy caged eggs, they are very orange. It would be good to clarify this.

I highly recommend doing genetic testing. I did it, and it did give so many insights!!! I am one of those people who can only metabolize 15% of fat at an optimum level and 20-25% of fat max occasionally. I can’t do too much of chicken/ pork fat, & allergic to lamb all together. I can’t consume coffee either, which I knew from before, because even decaf gives me anxiety. I have a sweet tooth gene that comes together with higher propensity for tooth decay and cavities. Last year being carnivorish, for the first time I had no cavities at my last check up to big surprise of my dentist. But I can do dairy according to my dna, which is yay, cause I love it. I have lower need for vit C, but low absorbency of iron & vit d, which also shows in my blood test. It is actually recommended for me to sunbathe responsibly as well as to eat organ meats. For reference, all my ancestry comes from Eastern European/ Baltic / Scandinavian countries.

The "dark orange yolk" thing is not ALWAYS the result of proper chicken diet. Some companies have learned that adding marigolds to the chicken feed has the same effect. My former neighbor's mother lived in the country and raised chickens-everthing was done "naturally"-free range etc. She frequently brought me eggs and they did NOT have the rich orange yolks. In fact over recent years when I've COMPARED eggs-her, the grocery store brand, the "yuppy duppy upscale organic etc eggs and I seldom saw or tasted ANY difference.

if dairy was bad for you then some of the longest lived healthiest peoples wouldn't exist. Not all dairy is the same,,, just as not all chicken isn't the same. I wish people would read up on what healthy dairy IS before making slandering statements. First, is it raw? Is it from grass fed animals, and is it primarily from animals eating healthy green grass, or are those animals raised indoors eating dried hay? Also gulping cold milk along with your meals is also going to lead to problems. Instead, are you taking the time to make Kefir or raw yogurts, or sourcing raw cheeses from animals raised as mentioned above. And if you're considering including dairy again in your diet, and especially if it's milk, then please consider building up your gut lactase producing bacteria at the same time. Also so happy to hear this guy talk about choosing healthy animals to eat. So amazing to me that carnivores dismiss this notion and keep repeating the mantra to eat what you can afford as an excuse to buy cheap food. Think I'm over reacting here,, go to a major feed lot and check out with all your senses just how healthy those animals you're going to eat Are. Then come back and tell me it doesn't make a difference. Or, see what happens to you in ten / twenty years after eating sick animals. Not to mention contributing to animal suffering ( you really think that a cow standing in its' own manure and ten thousand other cow's manure for four months is a happy cow? ) the destruction of our soils, from growing grain mono crops with herbicides, pesticides, and gmo grains..... I say support grass fed ranchers who earn an honest living and help the planet in doing so. Maybe giving up your starbucks coffee and putting those dollars towards grass fed could allow you to 'afford' healthy meat.

I’m one of the people who doesn’t metabolize fat well. I had constant stomach issues and nausea when I was keto and carnivore (for years). I lost over 100 pounds, but I couldn’t do it anymore. I switched to plant based and all my stomach issues cleared up in a week. I do miss meat and dairy sometimes, but then I remember how awful I felt and I just can’t do it. I was happy with my weight loss on keto, but unfortunately the diet just didn’t agree with me. That’s why I’m fully supportive of people trying different things to find out what works well for them. There’s pros and cons of every way of eating these days.

About digestion being burdensome-a person who has breathing difficulty or supplemental oxygen typically needs even more oxygen during the eating/digestion process...some individuals can get into distress from the extra oxygen required by eating and digesting

Look into what can be marketed as free range. An entire barn only needs a 1 foot door, which many chickens will never find. It’s a lot of marketing. Go for pasture raised.

Which genes or SNP are he referring to about the 49% one copy, 46% one copy and 5% both copies of "gut detox system"? (or not sure I got his explanation properly) ? Has it to do with Glutathione production or any more info on this somewhere?
