Lol well coming from a global with over 8k hours, I can assure you that most of the people you claim to be hacking, probably are not. Regardless of what you think you simply aren't experienced enough to tell the difference yet. I mean if they're genuinely hacking like spinbotting or walling and shooting through walls then cool, I get your point entirely. But equally, if they're just hitting shots or maybe guessing your plays before you make them maybe it's down to smurifng as opposed to anything else. For example, even at global I get falsely accused of hacking a lot, now take that same skill level and put me in a nova game, now they swear by everything Holy that I'm hacking. The truth is, it isn't true. I'm not hacking and neither are a lot of my friends who also like going on new accounts (why? Well sometimes it's fun to chill with music on and take a break from being hyper competitive all the time) In any case, focus less on your team mates and the other "hackers", quit complaining and focus on yourself because to be at that rank means you're still shit and will 100% improve with time and patience. Its not a straight line to rank up and nor should it be but by God, you do need to stop complaining about those things and start complaining about the dumbass plays you make as only then you'll be able to get better and stop doing dumb shit. Not here to badger people, just giving an honest opinion from a guy whose been in your shoes and who is talking from a bit of experience. Go get some.

I’ve solo queued to global twice, down at supreme now, I can say that the tips from MG and above was helpful and can be helpful to many others. I’m not playing mm anymore but I’m realising that this game is all about your overall. There’s people with absolutely shit crosshair placement and aim but they win games just fine because they have their game sense and decision making compensate for them. For the longest time I was grinding with a half decent aim which got me far. Now I’m stuck because the aim gave me a shortcut... After a while, everyone is going to have good aim, then you need to be able to bring something more to the table, the question is what.

crosshair placement practicing - yprac maps, smokes and flashes are there as well. utility usage - watch pros play your favorite positions. changing up your play style - play 1 position once or twice per game sometimes play aggressive sometimes passive, so your enemy has to keep guessing what you’ll do this round so eventually they’ll be scared peeking you. aiming - playing ffa servers will improve your aim and reaction many flicks you can do only because of your muscle memory remembers how much motion you need for that shot to hit so dont change your sensitivity or play 30min ffa before faceit or mm, also there is a thing like aiming with a spray in ffa servers you can practice that also.

im silver elite (pretty close to gold ranks) and its true that most of the teams you will play with will be around the same skill level as you, but every 2 days or so i get matched up with 3 people who dont speak my language, another with 2000 ping and another who gives up immediately and trolls the entire match. i think these experiences leave a bad taste in peoples mouths, and they start calling every team they get who doesnt carry them as a horrible team that cant do anything. 3 differences in Global vs high elo faceit player is I would say controlled sprays (jiggle sprays, transfers etc), controlling situations (isolate gun fights, reading openings etc) and utility usage (improvising utility to advance your position or knowing some smokes that land the same spot from different places etc)

truth is that it is indeed easier to rank up and have solid team performances on the higher ranks for the simple fact that everybody arround you understands what they are doin. Their nades dont land in your face all too often they are confident in their skill and they pay attention to the economical situation and positioning of their own teammates. Damn that was very accurate compared to my experience. I got like 500 hrs, only solo queue and went from silver to gold nova to master guardian. I just recently started focusing on crosshair placement and when it come to utility I know some smokes, throw frag grenades to opponents at the beginning of the round and so on. Most of my utility is thrown at the beginning of the round. I can't really use flashes in an effective way (pop flashes). When I do good I'm a hacker and when I do ok or bad...well...cyka blyat and so on

Dont worry you are about to get out of the age of cyka blyat from MGE to LEM you will notice that the game will start to get a lot ''easier'' as you will typically be matched up with other players that know what they are doing... players that wont all run to the same bombsite on the ct side unless the whole team agrees on it players that know when they can throw their utility so it doesnt just land in their teammates faces and people that know what to invest their money in. I would keep key nades for the later stages of the round (HEs and Incendiaries on the ct side and atleast 1 or 2 smokes on the t side to slow down the retake). What kept me from goin up once i hit MGE was my own pride (I wanted to get them sweet highlights so instead of waiting for my teammates when there was a 5 man stack on a bombsite i went for as many kills as i could which did not help me or my team to win rounds. once i gave it up i managed to get to LEM with relative ease

A smurf account is completely different than an account with 300+ hours in silver/GN. I have an account in silver 4 with 500 hours and I’ve been there for 3 months. I top frag every game while makeshift IGLing (usually in high 30 kill range). Made a new account and got placed MG, played for 3 weeks (all solo queue) and got supreme. Seriously, csgo silver has the highest skill spread I’ve ever seen.

I've bought a silver1 account, and it takes 2-3 games to rank up every time. It's not just about kills, it's about precision, utility damage, flashing, everything.

but what if i was sem (first rank) like year and half ago (on a laptop with 25fps), i was focusing on kills only. i stoped because it was unplayable because of my internet. but now, i got new pc and internet works sometimes, well, it gave me s3 after i won mm and recently i ranked up to s4. im focusing on smokes and utilitys, giving info and practicing aim, but my russian teammate dont appreaciate that (im not a russian, mid eu). i think my capabilitys are on gn3 to mg2. i just need to rank up to rank where people are as "good" as me.and i also dont want to just start a new account because i bought the new operation, got few badges there... so, whats the fastest way to rank up? going againts high ranks?

My bad habbit in csgo is for doing reload after killing.. because i play too much destiny 2 before, that you got damage buff after kill when you reload.

Just got deranked from MG. It is quite true that a lot of the times I prefer to play with SMG and have a full utility rather than playing with Rifles and that costs me a lot of 1v1 duel

your teammate is probably right. lower ranked players tend to pull down their mouse too much when spraying. Look at pros how much they pull down. In most situations you start at headlevel and stop at chest. max. belly.

@@thda11 exactly. Pull down a little and then the vertical recoil stops and you only worry about horizontal (left-right) recoil. Common mistake even in higher ranks

soo i am mg2 and a lot of the time i die to bad timing, because on 3 of the 4 maps me and my friends play i am the b anchor, and when i want to throw a molly i die to not knowing the timings

I'm around MGE and DMG and the state of the game is just terrible in those ranks. Maybe it's just that I have bad luck but in around 75% of my matches my team has a bot since round 5 and sometimes we end up with 2 bots (and don't try to say that this happens sometimes to me and sometimes to the other teams, it doesn't, that's why I said that I have bad luck, because this almost never happens to my enemy teams). Then there's the games against cheaters. Like, not people who are just better, I'm talking about spinbots or people who you can clearly see in the demo that are tracking you behind the walls. And then there's the fact that, for some reason, MM has been matching me against supremes and globals lately. I know I can learn from them but how am I supposed to win or even sometimes have fun in those games? And then there's the smurfs of course but at least they're legit players. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I don't belong to these ranks, I was happy to be where I was (before I dropped two ranks because of what I just said), all I'm saying is that novas might be somehow right saying what they say. They're already bad because of being novas, now imagine if you put them against a smurf or a cheater. There's no way they can win. It's no problem to you because you're already good, and can avoid some of these problems. For example, playing against a nova team with a smurf is like playing against a normal player and 4 bots for you, of course you will rank up fast and won't notice these problems, but if you look at this from a different perspective, there will be 8 novas in your match complaining about how you guys are smurfing or maybe cheaters. See the problem? I thought that since the new operation was released the game was going to improve, the state of MM would be kinda better and it would be more enjoyable generally, but I was completely wrong. Ever since it was released I've had nothing than problems and it's come to a point where I'm considering never playing MM again until I get 4 friends to play with me, and instead play on faceit.

As a silver 3 I am most of the time top frag in my team, I mastered the ak 47 and won like 70 matches people keep telling me that I play like a gold nova and still I am stuck in silver for absolutely no reason, Valve needs to change the ranking system fast, I can’t even blame my rash aim for this, my rank is just not fitting my actual skill

Actually on mg i find myself with teamates that are extremely good when it comes to utility and aim. I cant rank up mostly because sometimes my positioning is not ideal. Its not easy to carry in mm for me anymore but im proud to be in mg

Try playing faceit or community servers (1v1) so you can get to play with higher ranks so you see what good aim is, just for fun it wont help for nothing tho hahah

i don't even understand matchmaking at times, I win like 5 games against other silvers, then get matches against guys with 5000+ hours that have played 60 hours in the past 2 weeks and are still somehow gn1... and then i get deranked

Never change settings mid game. Your muscle memory will not comply and you will do worse. Everybody has bad games. Take it round by round and work on mental state

Always ask yourself why did you die? What went wrong? Don't do that mistake again and also dying is inevitable so you shouldn't be mad about it.

Don't change your sensitivity. That's awful. Just play the game. People think playing aim trainers is everything. Sure it's some but game knowledge and learning is also important. Try to play normal, not like a pro. The pros can take different risks and make different plays because they have more skill in aiming and game knowledge

I stuck between gold nova master and master guardian 1 , but my problem is whenever i think my enemy is cheating , they are pre-firing you every round from every spot, all the nades are exactly in your face, all the peeks are exactly at the most perfect time, where ever you go they are all 5 there like they have wallhack ,and this goes on all the rounds with no exception and after the 16-0 lose it shows we were facing 5 global players, it happened to me more than 10times thanks to valve balanced match making system 😊 (and all of those kind of matchs i faced UAE players or Saudi arabia players , its like oil money straight into hacks) one of my friends which he is usually supreme and sometimes global said to me that the higher your rank goes, you will face more cheaters and i saw tons of discussions and videos that people saying global elite and supreme have more cheaters than other ranks

Probably should turn your sens up a little bit by increments of 0.05 just so you actually have aim rather than crosshair placement, I'd hate to see you against a P90 jiggle peeking you in intervals.

Although I’m sure you are right with a lot of this, the point you made about people saying you don’t play in silver matches is actually very true. I don’t know what rank you are, I’m assuming global. But the people who say that are in silver but deserve gold nova. So they obviously can’t carry as hard as a global on a smurf can and their team can just weight them down to being hard stuck. --I know there are gunna be people saying that I’m just hard stuck but I just came back to the game and I’m nova 3-

Currently, in LE, my problem is everybody just out aims me, no matter where I stand or what I do just get Ferrari peaked and die lmao I've tried working my aim, made usage, positioning just playing more games to get better practise and still get deleted. When I get deranked to DMG only problem is the odd smurf and teammates who give poor information, not calling where a player is and that player kills me, stop holding angles and say nothing and guess what? I die from that angle :( That doesn't really happen in LE though, 90% of teammates are really nice and know what they're doing. quick edit, yes I watch back my games to see what goes wrong so I do know that my teammates see a player and say nothing or stop watching angles.

I am a dmg player who also was stuck in silver for a long time, for me the easiest way to get out if there was to simply relax and just play the game. A lot of the lower rank players think that if you lose the pistol round the game is already over. Just relax wait for enemy mistakes and simply out aim them it is not that hard maybe get one or two of your friends to play with you and you should be out of silver in no time. But if you really want to test if you fit in gold nova which is not that much of a skill difference to silver than hop on a new account and see where you rank in and if you can compete with novas

As a faceit lvl 8, i can say that the supreme one about predictability is 100% true. Not only supreme but eagles and below to master guardian. Novas and silvers they're unpredictable 😬
