A good thing I like to do for 1 beep codes is to check the water level of the reservoir before I reset the machine. If the water level is low then most likely it was a water interuption like the city water was off for a bit, machine tried to make ice then brought no water in and evap got too hot. Keep up the good work love watching your videos.

I had this 1 beeper keep bugging me for 3 months. Everytime i reset it and check to see if hot water filling, check the harvest timer completion, check thermistor ohm, check hot gas valve are all good. And everytime i reset it it would work like normal. However, i keep get call back on 1 beeper again. To the point i show the chef how to hit the alarm reset and it will work fine until i trip again. Call hoshizaki tech support, they tell me to tape a candle on the water line to see if it melt that mean hot water have enter unit some time that is difficult to cacth. I did that and the candle actually melted. It come to find down the water heater tank was set too hot and at night time when nobody using hot water, it flow back into cold water line. So that it something you wanna check Mr Dave if it keep doing 1 beep

In just about all my #1 shutdowns, there was a water issue, but managers won't tell you that when you walk in. You usually get that intel from one of the crew. So you have to check the water trough and see where the water level is before you reset the machine.

Had this same exact call a few days ago but with 2 self contained machines side by side both on a 1 beeper. Knew that the only thing they had in common was the water supply so it made it less of a head scratching call. Asked the manager if they had the water shut off at any point recently and sure enough the plumbers had been out there working the day before. Thank you Mr. Plumber 🫡

hot gas valves sticking open could be intermittent. Manitowoc is famous for that...makes 3 batches of ice fine then 4th batch it sticks open...reset it and it stick open at 2nd or 5th batch. Hoshizaki usually does not have hot gas valves sticking open...they are famous for leaking oil & refrigerant
@manhpham80522 жыл бұрын
I ran in to the same issue with manitowoc remote where i replace the hot gas valve 2 times. The 1st time it like u said it made 3 batches with no problem, then it stuck close instead, did not drop ice. The second hot gas valve I replace under warranty, finally it work

Our ice machine only beeps once when you turn it to "ice" mode and no more. The light on the board holds orange, except when you turn it on, for a few seconds there it switches to green. But yeah, no constant beeps like I see online.

A little bit of abdominal pressure should open the valve and release the excess gas.

When I was a cable guy, I had to install a line in a crawl similar to the one you where in, I had to move some insulation and surprised 😯 face full is mice I never saw that coming. If I was running the 100m dash I would have won gold that day I have never moved that fast in my life. But I was 25 being 46 now I probably would just have some choice words and move on to what I needed to do. Raccoons just stay away from these creatures they are the devil. I have story but that's for another day.

Any advice on a true gdm 49f ld, just grabbed it out of a scrap pile, needs a new compressor, OEM is over a 1000, any alternatives you know of?
@manhpham80522 жыл бұрын
You can take a picture of the compressor nameplate and go to local supply house for them to match up the hp and pipe size. I used to do find my at Johnstone supply or United refrigeration
