Trail Mater, greatly appreciate the rescue of the Ducati Desert Sled. We fixed the bike the next day with a simple paperclip and self-fusing waterproof tape. I couldn't be more grateful! I will definitely recommend your services, skills, and care that you took in treating my bike gently, to any other Moab rider that needs your help. Thanks Dale

Was it a smashed sidestand switch? Those things are a nuisance.
@bigbrotherscycling2 жыл бұрын
@@drumbrakes Yes, the stand pivot was slammed against a rock, which shattered. That switch comes apart and leaves a three position connector. I shorted the right two wires and taped it off with self-fusing tape. This of course was only accomplished the next morning after a little youtube research. Happy Motorcyling! Dale

New headers seldom have flat mounting flanges where they bolt to the head. Get out your grinder and make it straight or it will never hold a gasket. The gasket will compress over the first few heat cycles, so retightening is required while this is happening. Thank you for the great landscape shots! I will not be motoring through your world any time soon, so I'm glad you show us the beauty. Have fun out there!

On that first motorcycle rescue mission. Why would anybody take a that bike on a 4x4 route is beyond me. But what that heck! Provides work for you guys and cheap entertainment for us seating comfy at home. Well done at usual. The BMW GS that guy got lucky that thing did not roll down all the way that steep ledge. Crazy stuff some people do!

I ride an adventure touring bike myself and really appreciate the care you took to minimize any additional damage to the bike when you hauled it out. Really nice job. As usual the background scenery is spectacular. Please keep including shots of the "office" in your rescue videos. Beats the hell out of any cubicle I ever lurked in.

I am way down here in south Florida . We do not have any mountains, no rocks. ( well, we have one mountain, it is backwards: you park your car at the bottom, take off the brake and the car rolls up hill). Just wanted to thank the camera operator(s) for showing us flatlanders another perspective of our wonderful planet. We Love the show. ( south Florida )

Lots of great recoveries. Thanks for taking us along and also showing all the scenery! Mike is right about petrified wood. It's not only illegal but many people think bad luck accompanies wayward pieces of petrified wood. One of national parks has a pile the wood that people have sent back because they had bad luck ever since they took it.
