fun fact: prot caps at 80% damage reduction so the strongest piece of armor would be prot 20 which lets you wear only one piece generally if you wear full armor that's prot 5 then you have max damage reduction look at the wiki on protection for more info the only true way for 100% damage reduction is for resistance 5 which is impossible NOTE: this is only important for box servers that have like prot 58 that takes a month to get before the server gets wiped please don't comment that "but prot 5 is impossible!!!" ok

This is a complete misinformation, in vanilla Minecraft each entity can only take damage at maximum twice per second. Another fun fact is that in bedrock edition, even tough there's no attack cooldown, the damage taken by entity is cap at twice per second, this is creating the technical "attack cooldown" of 0.5 seconds for Minecraft bedrock edition

The way protection reduced your damage taken is by dividing the amount of damage you took, But again minecraft encrypted practically everything, and every single data in the game. So those 0.00001 damage would be rounded up to the closest possible number the system could count. So it doesn't really matter how much prot u had, as long as it wasn't infinity or 100% damage reduction, you'll still take damage. And it doesn't matter how fast you can click, There's this thing called i-frames or immunity frame, a mechanic where your character turns immune from all source of damage for a few frame in order to avoid the player taking damage from the same source for every frame the damage gets registered. Most games have this i-frames but even if you manage to find a way to disable it, I don't think you can land more hits that what your fps could process. Those "hits" would just get registered as a single mouse click. It registers within your hardware, but not your software which is minecraft. Unless you got the same amount of fps for each click that is, which would be 1Billion fps for 1 billion cps
