lol...yes,yes I know i said 2 parts and actually am using 5 including resistors and 7 including buttons and more than 10 including output transistor and LED....but the actually bit storage elements are only 2 transistors and 3 resistors....... so i should have said 5 parts not 2.......my apologies

In theory you are storing a bit. OK. But it does not work as computer register. First problem is that it has 2 inputs. You have made it much more complicated on the other end. Think of what has to happen with the control logic for this. Also you have now doubled your data bus size. A computer is controlled by a clock as are all the elements of a computer. It has no clock control. Electrically it won't fan out. Basically this is why registers are generally some type of D flip flop or D latch. I have built a bunch of these type of computer logic. And yes I built a 1 bit computer from transistors . I tried to minimize the number of transistors in my registers. This is similar to an SR latch. I tried to do that with the 1 bit but found that it made everything else more difficult to accommodate the 2 inputs for the register.
