That is beautiful. I ordered ball bearing marbles but they were too small. It was the .5 inch. I will get the 1 inch so that I can try and do this technique.

I like your method of painting. Are you using a floetrol, liquitex mixture?
@denni-jo
@denni-jo Жыл бұрын
Floetrol and a bit of water

Pretty sure your method doesn't actually require a marble/ball bearing to work well. But I think❤ It's definitely inspired. If you ever tire of using cups I have found the plastic lids from cottage cheese containers (or similar) of a much lower profile and are super stable and very reusable too.

I was inspired of your work. I did one - absolutely loved, but my blue has so many cracks while drying. Why?
@denni-jo
@denni-jo Жыл бұрын
Cracks can form for lots of reasons. A couple common causes... Make sure that there aren't any drafts or air circulating near it. And that the canvas is perfectly level.

Wow.....sorry that people think it's okay to comment on your clothes 🤐 Or that they are 'critiquing' your style so harshly. Most fluid artists and viewers are much nicer. There's a nifty 'block' function for those viewers 🤣🤣🤣 This piece is gorgeous, and your use of the marble to get that white really transparent as it moves is so fun to watch!
@denni-jo

Thank you for the support!! I probably won't block unless someone is vulgar. It's their opinion. And all comments help the performance of the video regardless of what is said. I personally ignore the negativity though.

Thank you. I don't know what ghost paint is. I've been calling the style ghost marble, because of using a marble and the shaded ghosty effect. I use deco art satin enamel white in my mix.

They are just breasts, people. If you're distracted, that's a you problem. Don't tell people what they can or cannot wear in THEIR video. You can just scroll on by and not say anything at all if you aren't happy 😚

I'm thinking your paint may be cracking because the black is too thick. it definitely gets thicker in winter, I live in a cool climate too! But that white is like velvet, I just love it!! Have you ever thought about using a dark grey and silver? I think that would look really cool! Do you have a recipe for your pours?
@denni-jo
@denni-jo Жыл бұрын
Thanks. No I am not disclosing the exact recipe. But it does use some deco art satin enamel white, which I think is what gives it the velvety look.
