6 - Red Black & Gold Fluid Acrylic Ghost Marble Painting

Using the ghost marble style with black red and gold paint. I decided to try to tackle this 16x40 inch canvas and it was challenging! I broke it up into three smaller sections.
It took about an hour to paint. The video is sped up to 10x speed during most of it.

Stellar design! Very Fresh! I enjoyed your process and you've inspired me. I am so glad you didn't use a real marble. I love the colors! I am not sure how long you've been doing this so I do not want to be presumptuous but because I use squeeze bottles and you're basically drawing ....might I suggest that as an alternative to lots of tiny cups? Maybe you're a fan of taking your time but bottles do take less time in my long experience.🤩

Thanks! I think there might be something special with dripping instead of squeezing that helps the white float/get transparent edges (or maybe not, but am afraid to change it). I do use a squeeze bottle for the gold.

VERY cool piece! WTG on ur last few videos blowing up too! I saw this 1 pop up in my feed last night and was going to watch it then I accidentally clicked on something else and the went to go back and it was gone so I am sooo glad that it popped up again today! :) I love the look of just red, gold, black and white together. You took your time and had fun with it also while showing others that you can make an incredible statement piece while not overthinking it! IDK about you but being a fluid artist sometimes I feel like I am bound to rules and guidelines and that is not freeing. I have to remind myself all the time that there are no rules in art and this painting definitely helped me with that! Ty so much for sharing! It is beautiful and striking! I love how you work it in sections in stead of all at once and didnt over roll or work the piece! xox

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy it. The video did a poor job displaying the red color. It's more rich! I will get a good dry reveal soon, either in the next video or one after. And I know what you mean about sometimes feeling bound to rules. That's what I like about marbling. You can get cool effects, but not necessarily have specific recipes for paint.

Thank you! It's actually a metal ball bearing. Either 3/4 or 1 inch. A large marble would work too though.

Who cares what the recipe is. There's a ton of recipes out there. This is fabulous work and a mastery of technique here. Let that be enough that Denny jo has shared that. Be grateful as your blunt request does come across unappreciative and entitled. I haven't checked it out but maybe she has already said what's in her paints. I think she said the base coat was half floetrol. Not sure. I can't remember it may have been someone else.
