two traps can be bricky some times, along with the 1off visas starbuck (maybe it's just me who always open the 1off) so I prefer them in the sidedeck and replace them with 2 or 3 handtraps (veiler/nib) or even not playing them at all. Also about the No Apolosa situation, recently, I have Mekknight Avramax instead of having Apo as endboard piece. Although he has no negates, he acts a pseudo boss monster that is usually hard to out, which feels pretty great for me.

ALL monsters are switched to defense position by tri-heart NOT just your opponents. So desirae would go in defense aswell

You can play impulse with the level 3 scareclaws because they don't activate. You just can't play it with fiendsmith.

wouldn’t you not need an extra body to get link 3, statue, and irae? you just need to use cross-sheep and your astraloud

Yes! The only reason I wouldn’t it because it kills your follow up. With the combo I showed, you have access to cross sheep & astraloud on the follow up to help push for game!

@ while that’s fair if you resolve full board you have just enough follow up to make your Tri-Heart kill your opponent without question, or you have Accesscode + Dies Irae for game

@@snomthemons yeah thats true! I’m maybe just a little more conservative of a player but you’re not wrong! Also you’ll have a 5 card hand so if you’re sitting on hand traps on top of the board, or a twinsaw for example, then you’re most likely safe so there’s no right or wrong here!
