Tenpai is a little too fragile(not your build, just in general). The deck is so reliant on the normal summon now, and in a 20+ hand trap format, it's just not happening. The Cetur-Ion engine is interesting though. 3 of the Field Spell and 1 Centur-Ion Atrii gets around Ash and the Field Spell will let you quick-sych but it's another brick😅

@@thecalieffect if tenpai is fragile, play protection. Crossout, called by, Crystal beast package for more field spell. Because it takes like half the non engine space, play ultra-high-impact handtraps and board breakers like nib or droll or eclipse or ulti slayer. Consider playing minus cards like spoly, droplet, or chaos hunter to utilize dead cards in hand, which happens more often when playing protection. I’m a brokie, I’m topping a YCS with Tenpai post-dec 2024 list before touching mls white rabbit

Tenpai Sky Striker is apparently a thing that doesn't look expensive, except mulcharmys of course. But that problem remains with any deck.

@@blackronin848 I mean granted with shining Sarc you have the spell negate. The way I’ve built the deck, i replaced some of the Aggro non-engine with protection (more field spell plus crossout-called by) and replaced most of the rest of the non engine with lone-high-impact cards (nib/droll/eclipse/Ult slayer) and the only breakers are spells and handtraps, usually you only see 1 or 2 of aggro non engine now. So the one spell negate works. Works best on meta. Eclipse/UT/droplet cooks ryzeal. Lancea/Chaos (usually sided, especially chaos cause it’s multi-turn and utilizes potentially dead cards which happens much more now) and I think eclipse cooks MLS too. Fiendsmith is just cooked in general by shifter (which is also sided cause of CRBR meta) plus potentially droll/nib (which are mained due to coverage) as I’m not sure their effect on fiendsmith variants now.

Exactly. I think this is the perfect version for this deck because the fact it pretty much board wipes and ignores your opponents field and interaction besides floodgates, it needs to be a high risk high reward deck
