Can you use Pre-prep to grab Chaos Form and then a Magician of Chaos while it identifies as DM in grave? DM is mentioned on Chaos Form. Haven't really gotten an answer to this question. Keep the videos coming!

What about being able to replace rod with Dark Magic Inheritence.. I know it's usually kind of bad, but with relying on Nadir Servant, Branded Fusion, possibly Prep and Pre-Prep, and after making use of Impcantation Inception as a summon and discarding it for a draw on Magicians' Souls, it may be viable for that extended search. If it's in hand already, you even use the same two cards for Souls cost from the GY for it's cost.

I personally don't think any card is off the table, any card can work with the right combo. I've got so many combos using cards that the usual person would think suck. As for inheritance, I've tested it out before, it's alright, but as of right now I don't think it'd replace rod. But it could be run alongside it in certain builds!

This combo is also great for generaiders, that deck can easily make mereologic aggregator. Just need to find a good ritual that helps that deck!

I figured this combo out a few months ago while trying to make Valkyrie work actually so its really funny to see it being discovered by the Dark Magician community now too. Unfortunately after like 3 weeks of working at it I couldnt find any way to make the deck actually work WELL outside of making it a Runick build that focuses on the mill win condition (since Valkyrie has a mill effect they can use also). Basically all youre doing is looping the lock long enough to deck out your opponent. Sadly I figured it was too far removed from Valkyrie as an archetype at that point to count as a Valkyrie deck and dropped the project.

After watching your videos i build the deck myself irl. Black Luster Soldier being my favourite card from back in the day. And getting to play him in a dark magician deck feels nice. After playing for a few weeks against my friends i gotta say, turn 1 your combo mostly is enough to survive and turn 2 you have to close up the game. Sadly the damage is lacking there. I feel the shuffle back effect of the new BLS is nice but having to summon it with a normal monster is stupid...

Awesome! I hope that works out for you! As for not being able to finish off the opponent on turn 2, if you do things in the right order, it should be over 8K damage. Try to make Rod your way to search eternal soul. Go into Artemis. During the opponents draw phase, chain rod and moc to e-soul flipping, add rod back to the hand. On your second turn, summon rod, search for secrets, attack with everything, use secrets to make master of chaos, bring back a monster with it's effect, attack with them both and that should be more than enough for game.

Rod has been dropping more and more for me anyways, but I don't see why we shouldn't expirement with expanding the main deck to beyond 40 cards. Since we'll be running so many bricks we might as well have them be less likely to be drawn

Yup, I agree. I've mentioned that exact thing in a few previous vids. As long as the added cards increase consistency or expand plays, going over 40 is fine~

Definitely possible, yes. If anything, I'd say ritual chaos would be the best deck to play magia in.
