Thank you Sis Wilson for a beautiful presentation. So many amazing and heartfelt messages are contained here. I love the reminder about looking after the body so that it functions at the top level. I also love the words of Paul when he said that kindness and forgiveness allows him to be who he is. I think these words apply to all of us. When burdens and behaviours contrary to the spirit are out of the equation, what's left is light, and the attributes of the Saviour. This is the authentic self and who we are meant to be. This is my take on those beautiful words. I just love how Paul addresses the issues that nobody wants to touch and his words are nourishment and spot on. He truly was and still is an instrument of the Lord. I love what you said about allowing the spirit to translate things that are hard to understand. I love my one on one times with the spirit, and I love that he is so patient. He is the best teacher, he has helped in so many ways. There is a power in the way the spirit translates and teaches. Your words got me thinking about him. I know he is someone who likes to teach, he also gets excited and happy about his role as teacher, guide and mentor amongst all the others. This is my take. I agree that we live in a world full of things that can BECOME as though they are idols or addictions however I don't agree that things like food or sports or movies or t.v. etc were designed to take us away from God...they can if we allow them too that's for sure. And of course drinking pornography and some other worldly addictions most always take us down a path separate from God...but to say all these things are designed to take us away from God doesn't make sense. Why then does the church sponsor sports or have its own media or allow for break the fast after church if all these things are designed to take us away from God?...other than that I really enjoy your commentary on the new testament!!!

Hi! Yes I do agree. Balance is important! However after contemplating what you said more what I took away from your message is that especially in the world TODAY and more more these things are and will become idols and addictions accepted by the world as more important than the Savior and His gospel...especially by (unfortunately) members of the church...thanks so much for your lessons and input!!!!
