Does TBC provide for the use of "Surface boundaries"? where you just draw a polyline around the outside of the exterior perimeter of the surface area in close proximity to outer points and designate the polyline as a surface boundary? so that triangles are prevented from forming across large areas of no points where such triangles would have to pass through the boundary line. the same type of surface boundary polyline would be also used for creating "void areas" within the area of the surface where you didn't want the surface created, such as inside the footprint of a mapped building or any area inside the project where for whatever reason you may not have sufficient data to generate a surface.

Yes it does. You describe the applications perfectly. So one boundary can create a extends limits, a second boundary will create a hole (like a donut!) etc. etc. You can have as many boundaries as you like. The only thing to watch is that they do not touch!
