DJI Phantom 4 RTK - TBC Processing with Ground Control Points

This video explains how to import raw data from the field and pick GCPs to adjust the images from the DJI Phantom 4 RTK in Trimble Business Center. The GCP adjustment can be done with or without a GNSS trajectory from the DJI Phantom 4 RTK unit.

Instead of "Adjusting Photo Stations" I use "Advanced UAS" and apply a quick fit. Is there a benefit to doing it your way?

I cant get tbc 5.4 to install and run properly. 3 separate machines, same problem. "Unable to loard DLL 'sde_api_x64.dll' the specified module could not be found"

When trying to process NON RTK data, what specific files do I need to be ale to process? I use DroneDeploy and Map Pilot to run my missions and not a DJI Program, could this be the reason TBC does not recognize a flight mission? The only data I have are the images from the SD card.

Hello Mike, are you familiar with the EXIF and XMP tags in the DJI Imagery? If yes, then you can check if some of the following values are existing in your imagery: Camera Model Name : FC6310R Absolute Altitude : Relative Altitude : Gps Latitude : Gps Longtitude : Rtk Flag : 50 (or 16, 34) Dewarp Flag : 1 (or 0) GPS Altitude : m Above Sea Level GPS Latitude : GPS Longitude : GPS Position : , In general, all images need to be in the same folder and at the moment TBC supports from the DJI only the FC6310R sensor (DJI Phantom 4). Try to generate DJI EXIF and XMP entries for your imagery, as this will help to import the data with valid values and it will help the process.

@@tom4trimble I am familiar with the EXIF data, I just put an image through a program and I do not have the values to som eof these fields and no Dewarp Flag field...

@@mikebuisan2262 Hi Mike did you run your DJI flight in "Photogrammetry Mode"? If not, I would recommend you to give it a try, as typically running a DJI flight in Photogrammetry Mode will add all necessary information to your EXIF and XMP tags. Of course, it can happen that your 3rd party software "removed" information from the EXIF. I hope not, but you could easily check if the images before running your 3rd party software included the information or not. Wish you all the best!
