I've had excruciating shoulder/neck pain for a few days now that had brought this grown ass man to the edge of tears. Was waiting to call my doc on Monday with expectations of surgery in my future... did the first stretch you demonstrated and 90% of the pain was gone instantly.... now I just feel dumb. Will be doing these stretches daily, can't thank you enough.

Hey, don't be hard on yourself, we are taught to not give self care, to only use big phama. Be proud that you found them and have empowered yourself. This is my go to when any part of my body gets an issue. Stretching brings lubrication to the joints, so every little joint needs to be tugged on stretched, pulled and rotated, ESPECIALLY TOES AND FINGERS.

I spent 5 months in rehab for a torn rotator cuff. 3 days a week. It never got any better. Then I started haning from a tree limb every day. Finally my shoulder is healing. Hanging is the best thing. It doesn't hurt. It takes a few months of doing it every day, but it works.

Suffered left shoulder pains for a few years, before you came around. Stopped smoking and suddenly the pain disappeared to never come back again. Thought of it for years, until like a flash there and then discovered the reason. On my way to work every morning I lit a cigarette and rolled my window down to let the smoke out. The cold air especially hitting my left shoulder was definitely the cause for my sometime excruciating pain. Very strange, but true.

You’re not gonna believe this, I’ve been dealing with a lot of pain in my right shoulder for the last month due to overuse and probably a poor posture when sitting at my desk. I did the very first posture exercise by pulling your shoulders together you mentioned and the pain disappeared about 50% after doing just one set of those exercises. After doing the same exercise a second time the pain was completely gone!!! I just gave you a thumbs up and subscribed. Next I’d like to see some thing for the IT band. You’ve probably already done one so I’ll have to do a search. Thanks again you guys are incredible.

Might want to also address the primary cause. Sleeping on your shoulder, putting 8 hours of pressure on the joint. If overweight you should be even more careful. If pain is constant and has been there for a long time, for immediate relief, sleep on your back on a flat place, even the floor, with something under you that does Not reach all the way to the outer edge of the shoulder. A narrow camp pad or the like will do. This gives the shoulder joint the chance to move anteriorly by gravity and relive the pressure. One night will bring relief and two nights of this will bring amazing results. As a side sleeper, take your usual position and "unfold" just enough to take the weight off that shoulder. It's a very small movement, not enough to unbalance you, but takes all the pressure off the joint and allows it to heal or not cause the problem in the first place.

As an orthopedic massage therapist I find a lot of my construction working patients deal with this same trouble because of their body mechanics at work which of course is hard to manage. I try to encourage them to sit back every 15 minutes and roll their shoulders back and stretch out their arms to open the chest muscles to take tension out so the shoulders can go back into better alignment. I get so much out of watching your videos that help me in my practice! Thank you thank you thank you.

My chronic bursitis stopped after I moved to Florida. It was so bad every winter in Upstate NY; cortisone shots every year. One year, I was in the Dance Program (winter) and I participated in 7 group performances. I could not lift my arms. My Doc refused the shots...he left...his staff> Gave me what I needed to perform on stage..... I am so grateful for the weather in Florida, that nasty yearly pain is dormant. I sleep on my back! Now that winter has arrived, my two vertebrae that were filled with concrete (kyphoplasty) are making their space known to me, first time since a year ago when I broke my two back bones. It's got to be the weather!!

That’s awesome. I’ve been having shoulder problems for a long time. Getting acupuncture and massaging. Can’t wait to try these exercises. I’m hoping I don’t have a rotator cuff issue. Going back to doctor soon. Had neck and back surgery and have not been able to lift my bad shoulder to high when doing that back stretch with arm behind my back. I hope this loosens up my shoulder to move more freely than ever before. Thank you both.

I injured my shoulder boxing in 2009. One reason I never went back was because the confidence of not having my shoulder healed. Had X-rays, mri, physical therapy and went to a chiropractor and none of them knew what was wrong or how heal me. I been doing these for a week n I feel progress. Thank you 🙏🏽 Big Blessings

Hoping this will help me, during a fall, I grabbed the freezer and my shoulder pops now. Love Bob and Brad, these 2 guys saved me so much misery after watching their video about leg cramps. Mine were so painful at night and I was afraid to go to bed and would sit up trying to sleep. Bob and Brad said a big percentage of people with the problem were dehydrated. I started drinking more water and even keep water on my nightstand and I have not had any more leg cramps. So thankful for these 2 men.

I’ll share these videos to those who need the wisdom from you two! In fact, I know many people that have shoulder issues and it’s really sad. As we all know, the body is made to move and we get stuck in their ways and then get injuries…

12:55 Tricky exercise to do - coordination thing. Used a towel in the shower doing this exercise. Had seen specialists, had an MRI and did physical therapy for months. This exercise changed my life and it was free.

My right shoulder has always been painful on and off for many years, much of it is when I go to bed. I sleep with my arm raised above my head or the pain is bad. My doc said I have tendonitis and some damage from RA. I am going to do these exercises, thanks for being so helpful!

Wanted to say thank you! I had shoulder pain for about 2 weeks from lifting weights. Got to the point I had to stop. Started searching for stretches and how to fix the problem and this video hit the spot. 2 days of these stretches/moves, 3 times a day helped me get back into the gym pain free. Thank you!

One shoulder diagnosed with tendonitis & bursitis and cortisone shot helped only for awhile. Other shoulder in even more pain now, probably from sleeping on that side only. Plan was to go back to doc & get diagnosis on that second one so I can ger PT for both. Here late at night because pain keeping me awake, and I remembered these 2 wonderful gentlemen recommended exercises for a painful sciatica that quickly fixed it. So here I am! The first 5 exercises actually made each shoulder feel better right away. I am hoping if I continue them, I won't have to go to PT.

Thank you guys. For saving both my shoulders, you are a life savers. I pulled both my shoulders some years ago, from lifting something, it has been bothering me for years, I tried everything, and almost preparing for surgery till I came across your channel. By just listening to your techniques, I have been heeled completely, by following your instructions. Thanks for your advice, you can use my testimony if you want. You can use me for anything, I can't thank you enough. God bless.

Thank you so much. I have been doing 3 exercises set by a physio for 2 months, with little improvement and I was beginning to feel as the arm was getting weaker. Now that I’ve added in your suggestions (door frame, push down walk back, the stick) after two days I have increased mobility. Thank you 🙏😘
