Hey guys! So I attempted a "Yzma inspired" look but I don't think it really worked 😂 The palette was so cute but maybe the colors aren't exactly what I need for the costume. Let me know what you guys think I should do to create a more "Yzma" Look?! Also what are you going as for Halloween!? Love ya💖

Love the Yzma and Kronk costume idea! Definitely need more bluish purple shaddows. Also, pull the hollows or you contour lower - Yzma's face looks more skull like, so you want to darken those areas. I think you put the contour here more on the apples. The make-up you did here would be great for a glam Morticia Adams.

Love the costume idea, Yzma is such a fun character to do! I’m being a woodland fairy…..I made a flower crown with antlers and have a floral dress and going to do a deer makeup and that’s about the extent of my costume lol.

Puppies!! They’re so cute. Tater making biscuits in his bed, Ren snoring away. I love them 🥰 And I completely understand the spider fear. I have severe arachnophobia. Even the word freaks me out. Pictures freak me out, plastic spiders freak me out, even just thinking about them gives me the icky. And I live in Australia 😭😭😭

I'm right with you when it comes to spiders! The older I get, though, the more I'm trying to live and let live. So when I see a spider in my house I try to think past my first instinct which is KILL IT WITH FIRE. Instead, I say to myself what a noble, handsome creature this must be...on his home planet.

Spiders are welcome to do their things where they belong- outside. In nature. If they show up inside they’re fair game (unless they pay rent, then we might revisit the situation).

I won't kill them outside, but if they're inside, they better give me something in exchange like paying rent or doing the dishes, otherwise they are gonna die 😂 and they can't help with other bugs in the house because I spray every crack and crevice with bug killer every 3-6 months to prevent anything from staying alive if it comes in my home 😂 so if the spider survives the entrance into my house, it better get to work

I think you did a great job with your "Yzma inspired" makeup. Like you said it was your first time using that palette and trying the look. Can't wait to see your final look all pulled together. Love that your hubby is such a good sport and is willing to dress up as Kronk with you. Bonus points if at some point during the party you yell, " Kronk! Pull the lever!" Have a great time and take lots of pictures.

We did get a very purple 2 layer pallet from PLouise awhile back, maybe that can help perfect the look especially for the shimmers!!!! I loved the trial run!!!!

I did a laboratory Yzma costume a few years ago. I definitely went full wrinkles and eye bags 😂 legit feather eyelashes and a black trolls wig for her hair. She’s my favorite princess…empress…cat…villain…!!

If you use a black base it will make the dark shadow colors more vibrant . You can use a creamy black eyeliner as a as base sense you have a lot of it. Smitha Deepak has a video on it you can watch that shows you how to do it. I always have to watch videos to learn how to do things with makeup or fixing things I break .

I don't know Yzma but you could totally pull off a glamourous Ursula from Little Mermaid too! Those exaggerated brows and the purple contour/bronzing (purpleing?) really take you right into to Disney character land! It's perfect for halloween.

Oohhh u got my original wished for pallette but I love the one I got....the lip duo has just been released and I love my banana one. And the lotion is a calming face moisturiser and love it...just feels so cool on my skin. Love that u got the Halloween box in October too xxx

I’m the same way when it comes to spiders! I’ve sadly and horrifyingly had to start dealing with all the creepy crawlies on my own since last year when my wonderful spider killing husband passed away. Just another thing to add to long list of things I miss about him 💔I still let out an audible scream whenever I see any kind of bug, but I am starting to get better at dealing with them… except for spiders, lol 😂

I think the makeup look u did looked amazing 🤩 I love plouise I got the same as u in my box but I then brought the other palette as I wanted both hehe….. the lip duo is supposed to be for the winter lips u get when they crack and go dry the thick one has a menthol ting to ya lips they are both amazing as in Scotland the weather in the winter gets bad and my lips are always cracked but been using these since they came out and my lips have stayed smooth so really happy. Would love to see u and ya hubby in ya costumes when you go out in them xxx

I LOVE your costume idea! I think you should try bringing the lip liner fully onto your lips for a thinner lip look, I think you’re slightly over lining since that’s the default glam look but it’s not the character.

I think since the box runs a mo th behind the made their Sept box Halloween themed since everyone gets it in Oct. hope that makes sense! Last year I received a Christmas box in January, which didn’t make much sense so I think they learned to steam their boxes a month ahead for holidays so we receive it on the actual holiday month

I am going as Wednesday Addams. I got the other pallette that says book of spells droplets of magic. The box is black and the Color’s are purple/ dark rust the other side green/gray silver color. Definitely should have continued the theme with other spooky items. Love the puppers in the background. Tatter was restless today. I’ve got two Havanese fur babies. One is 9 and the other 4. So my old guy Finnegan is like Ren and so chill but the other one Bear is always getting into stuff and wanting to go.
