Teluk Intan is a town in Perak, about 160 kilometers northwest of Kuala Lumpur (2 hours' drive) and 235 kilometers southeast of Penang (3 hours' drive). It can be a great pit stop if you traveling between the two cities.
HOW TO GET TO TELUK INTAN
Teluk Intan can be reached from most major cities in Malaysia by bus. Within Teluk Intan, you can use local buses or Grab Car, but the best way to get to and around Teluk Intan is by having your own transport.
THINGS TO DO IN TELUK INTAN
- Visit the leaning tower (Menara Condong Teluk Intan)
- Eat mee rebus and rojak at Mastan Ghani restaurant
- Chill out at Teluk Intan Riverfront
- Eat your heart out at Glutton Square
- Play with farm animals at Ladang Moccis
- Go on a cruise to Bangau Island
- Eat seafood at the floating restaurant by the river
- Try the multi-flavored chee cheong fun at Liew Kee (Ah Lek) Chee Cheong Fun
- Make a day trip to Bagan Datuk to see the waterfront, sky mirror and sunflower garden

There is a bus that goes there. And there are local buses within the city too, but it's easier to take Grab 😄
