The weak point of these clocks is that the battery casing sometimes cracks from the pressure. Also, the terminal from the battery reaches inside and contacts another terminal. This contact will become unreliable due to oxidation

It can't be helped because it's cheap. If I'm looking for quality, I'll buy Seiko or Citizen, which are a little more expensive.
