e^(i/2)-e^(-i/2) = 2j so shouldn't there only be one sin? i think the answer is e^(-2jw)*sin(5w/2)

because the DTFT is a way to convert signals from the time domain to the frequency domain. In time domain we represent a value of intensity vs a given time. but in frequency domain we represent a signal as a magnitude and a phase. So the DTFT is not complete until you have a magnitude and phase angle. It would be like going to the bank with Canadian dollars, asking for Mexican Pesos and then the teller gives you US Dollars because they stopped halfway.

Because he takes out half. If you multiply it back in just try it you will get e^(5/2-5/2) which is e^(0) which is 1. You simply take out half.

instead of n, we are introducing N... N-1=n N-1=4 N=5

N-1= 5 , where n=4 4-1=5 how it's possible In which school u learn this kind of substrate

It should be noted that N - 1 = 4 was the problem solving this for N would be N = 5

If you don't realize that n and N are two separate things... you're going to be in for a really bad time. Because crap like that is really common in physics.

N-1 n ka value hai 4 Abh n = -1 shift hua to + hotha nah tho N=4+1 =5
