For me, when heading in a spot I look for the Pres and while heading over greet each member on the way over. When in the parking lot heading into a event or clubhouse, etc I great every prospect in the parking lot (prospects remember that and they won't be prospects forever) #NationalPres

I feel the same way about the salutes. And as for prospects. A prospect is indeed a prospect, but he is a man first and foremost. Treat the man with the same respect as if you would anyone else thats there. There where 2 prospects in my chapter. I respected them with the same respect as I would any other man. I told them to not be afraid, I'm here so they can learn and to ride. Those prospects actually became brothers that are now close to me. #ghostin.

When I prospected, I was treated with respect from members of my chapter, but took much shit from other chapters at events. I was lucky enough to get patched with minimal time because I proved myself in many ways and not just by flipping burgers or counting bikes. My advice, put in the work and be yourself.

IMO, prospects need a minimum 1.5 years before they patch, some need double that. It takes time to get to know a potential brother, I wanna know their family, job, work ethic outside the club not just within. Every prospect has to bring something beneficial to the club or why have them? No reason to stack members with quantity over quality. Nobody calls our prospect :"prospect" or has them do anything. If you lay hands on our prospect, expect the entire club to come to his defense. You have to love the club like you love your children, it's a part of you for life.

When I was a prospect I treated my President like a company commander. Would always greet and answer any questions he would ask and perform all task. He is higher up on the chain of command, if I had questions or comments I would always go to my sponsor.

I’ve washed bikes, I’ve pulled security, I’ve picked up trash, swept parking lots, watched bikes, washed bikes, and in an unfortunate event I’ve had to throw hands. I love my president like a father, and don’t come at him sideways or I’ll throw hands again. I can call that man right now, from 2 states away, and he would come get me himself. He is a real brother, and a great mentor. HE is the reason I’m the first white boy in our state, there are some in other states, but for almost 5 decades there was none here. This club showed me love, and my president showed me love that I’ve never had before.

Prospecting made me who I am today in my club and now that I am raising the next generation, I make sure that they learn the right way. If that's some thing your worried about there are all sorts of clubs out there you could always go 99%. This is my feeling on the matter I don't speak for any one but hopefully other ppl pitch in some club life's arnt for every one and there is nothing wrong with that but when choosing a club you have to weigh all your options and what your comfort level is don't jump into to any thing with out using your brain there's alot of good guys in this group that would probly say the same thing but what ever you chose give it your all brother and always keep it on 2s

I never had a prospect wash my bike. What I do is call the prospect and any brother who wants to tag along and we go wash our bikes together and have a few beers while doing it. But that's just me. Don't take me wrong, prospects do put effort and do chores but members don't shy away from them as well. After all, a prospect is a brother in the making and should not be treated with disrespect. When we visit other clubs we always greet everyone without prioritizing rank. Being polite and respectful is all about human decency, not a set of rules. Thank you for this video! What i would love to know is what to to and what not to do as a 1% Prospect. What can you do or what can you have hold of over a 1 piece patch and the respect that should be shown.

#GHOSTIN We don't have prospects in my Association, but knowing what I do from a brother of mine, I've always treated them with respect, just like I do anyone else I meet for the first time. As far as shaking hands on the way in, it's a MUST! He'll, half the MC's I've been around don't wear name tags, let alone position tags... Don't get caught slipping, that guy you just passed might be the PREZ!!! And if you haven't been to a clubhouse, Don't touch their front or back door, let them do that.

#PROSPECT Best thing for me and my journy is that i was around the club for like 6-7 years before being given the opportunity to prove myself. If I was given this same opportunity a few years ago i woulnd never have made it because i was such a hot head and thought i knew more than i really did. When I was prospecting I checked another clubs president for calling me prospect and told to him I wasn’t his clubs prospect. When it comes to paying dues I always believe in getting what you pay for and use those benefits that are there if I’m Paying dues every month then that should cover my gas to a mandatory run and my room cost unless I was sleeping in a tent and never leaving the party site.
