Won a FA cup , went on a title run for Arsenal last season, currently 1st in the league and probably 2nd favorite to win it , brought arsenal back to the champions league and they were one of the most dominant teams in the competition so far ,has restored a positive culture amongst arsenal fans .that's pretty good for a manager that came in with no experience.. better than they've ever been in the last 20 yrs

The owners are giving Arteta time to build something there. Fair to say they had a decent lead in January before being overhauled by City. The problem in modern football is as a coach you are expected to win trophy in less than two years when employed. This is Arteta's first managerial experience - not a fan of him when he was announced as our new coach but he has turned the club around to something positive.

Listen we haven't won nothing major yet we all know it but we are defo going in the right direction I love Arteta I love the squad of players he has bought in and the last big thing is he has got most fans back on side and singing from the same page. He's a newish manager but we're definitely doing better than I expected. I'm glad we have him.

Did you know that one of the greatest managers sir alex ferguson stayed 4 years after being appointed in 1986 without winning any trophy at manchester united!!!! He inherited a bloated squad full of players coasting on generous contracts given to them by the previous regime who had tried to shortcut our way back to the CL and failed miserably. The first 18 months were about making do under the backdrop of lockdown and the financial hit all clubs took but once he was fully backed on the summer of 21 the progress has been clear to see. The club is unrecognisable now to the mess he inherited, yes we all know it’s now reached the stage where he needs to deliver something big but the fact Arsenal are even in this conversation again shows his work has been meaningful.

It's revisionism. - People didn't expect him to win that FA cup. - People already replaced Arsenal in the top 6 with Leicester. - People didn't expect us to almost qualify for top 4 the season we just missed out and finished fifth. They had Arsenal in 10th. - People expected Arsenal to finish 5-6th last season but we challenged. - Guys have already replaced Arsenal as challengers with Liverpool and now Villa because Unai is more experienced and LFC were previous challengers and have supposedly a better attack. Well Unai has never finished in the top 2 since the 2000s and LFC only have one goal better than Arsenal. Now content creators are trying to place Arsenal as some UCL dark horse and beat Arsenal with it if they fail to reach a semis when Arsenal fans are just happy to be back in the UCL. It's what the media do with Arsenal. Chelsea right now are what people thought Arsenal would be.
