"LeBron and the Cleveland Clowns vs the Western Conference All-Stars", is simultaneously the most volatile and accurate statement made about that series.

Moses Malone's famour prediction was "Fo fo fo," meaning three four game sweeps, as the plaoffs in that year consisted of three best of seven series. They prediction didn't come true as they lost one game in the conference finals. No team has gone undefeated throughout the playoffs. There were two ther teams that lost only one game duribg the playoffs. The 2001 Los Angeles Lakers lost game one of the finals to the Philadelphia 76ers, while the 2017 Golden State Warriors came the closest, winning fifteen in a row before losing game four of the finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He’s got much more difficult competition to deal with. Jordan didn’t have to deal with the Steph/KD Warriors who were effectively invincible and fail proof. At best MJ had an aging Magic Johnson to play against in the Finals.
@universalmind39635 ай бұрын
@@RandomInternetLozer Thanks to Jordan, the Bulls WERE the Warriors of his era. 3 peated twice, which The Warriors couldn't even do once. What you're giving is excuses, which is all Lebron fans got left since Lebron can't compete straight up resume to resume vs MJ. What's more impressive, beating the Warriors 1 out of 4 times or leading your team into much greater dominance than even the likes of the Warriors could ever achieve?

The 2007 finals was not close. It's unlike today where 10 points is close because you can just shoot 3s. In those times, if you're down 5 points it's hard to catch up. And I remember the last game, it was already a sure win and they let the Cavs shoot the 3 that's why it's 82-83 but wasn't close.

In all fairness, the first time he got swept (2007) was before this whole “LeBron chooses his teammates” thing came into fruition. If you go back and see the talent on that Cavs team vs that Spurs team during those finals, you’ll realize how inferior to the Spurs the Cavs were. It still amazes me how they even made it that far. Although LeBron’s team lost, it shouldn’t be counted against him in terms of his greatness for getting there in the first place. But I guess you’re somewhat right, a sweep is a sweep.
