In this video I see what happens when I let 1 giant monster neodymium magnet collide with 1,000 tiny neodymium magnets! Then I test what happens when I try to hold them in my hand next to the giant neodymium magnet!

Also helps the fact that the ball of small magnets deform, whereas a block of steel is very rigid. Like when they almost fully wrapped around the big magnet, rather than sticking to one side.

It was interesting; I didn't expect them to collide so hard that some of the smaller magnets ended up on the back of the larger one. Crazy! But even crazier was the use of telekinesis to separate them again afterwards.

Alignment! I've contended that gravity is the basis of everything and that spin alignment is what gives us magnetism. If so - like in this example where the non-aligned magnets decrease the magnetic effect - I argue that particles spinning in different orientations to each other cancel the effect of gravity; with the residue being what we experience. Ergo small areas of gravitational alignment are magnetism. If we could somehow unspin all matter (not possible due to pressure) then this 'supergravity' would be felt. There is no reason to have multiple forces if we recognise that they all stem from one single force (this supergravity).

@ The Action Lab: When you say "the opposite pole is pointing away from the magnet" at 3:23 that's not correct. If the pole of the larger magnet is North then by saying the opposite pole is pointing away from the magnet that means south is pointing away. So when you bring it closer it should connect (attract) not push away (repel). It should be said the same pole is pointing away from the magnet. To the untrained eye this is not good, but to the trained eye I know what you meant to say .... Just a thought and a suggestion for you and the viewers. Feel free to try what I taught yourself. :)
