Hearing about emperor's smile just hurts so much every one had a sad back story but thinking about how Wei Wu Xian suffered so much when he had done nothing he was misunderstood when he gave his golden core away I was bawling his pride was his sword and he gave it away, why did anyone ever create such a miserable character to me the most painful one was without a doubt mdzs. how lan zhan could not express himself at all. Unlike other couple Bing he had a body of his love and San lang knew that he was fine, lan zhan had nothing the sword what taken away, the flute was taken away he had nothing to hold on to he would never know if Wu Xian was finally at peace he could only try to communicate with his qin but how could a soul that had already long disappeared answer 😭 And when lan zhan could not stop people from talking shit about Wu Xi'an and he knew how much he suffered 😞

I've said this before. But somehow, all three versions of Wangxian sound like different periods of Wangxian's lives. *Xianyun* sounds lovely and happy, as if it mirrors WX's youth and how each of them starts falling in love with each other. *Wangxian* sounds desperate, full of longing, grief and pain. *Wuji* sounds complicated at first, like all the stuff they've been through. They were alone, but in the end they're together and that's what matters. Funny, though, that the lyrics of all these all give the same vibe. Longing. But all of them are really good songs!!! I'm currently halfway through TGCF, and knowing Wangxian;s story I'm pretty sure this is gonna get painful really soon. Nevertheless, I love Xie Lian and Hua Cheng!!!

It can be quite different than the rest and I couldn't really get the relationship between shizun and binghe but they're cute together ♡. I am sorry, I'm probably not being helpful but yea, you should check it out. :)

In my opinion, SVSSS is definitely worth a try. It's hilarious from Shen Yuan (Shen Qingqiu) and Airplane's POVs, but if it were from any other character's, the feels would be overwhelming. On the surface, it's just an average transmigration novel, but there's so much more to it when you look deeper into the backstories and PIDW (the novel within the novel). As for the level of angst/gore/violence, it's basically what you'd expect from an MXTX novel. :D But of course, like any other novel, it's not for everyone. Just give it a shot, haha!

When I found this, I was expecting to study well with beautiful music in the background. But all I ended up doing is recalling everything from MXTX's three novels and crying over it. All of MXTX’s characters always seem so interesting and powerful to me. They all seem so unique but give me the same feeling, a feeling I can’t explain. Especially with MDZS, since their characters are so tragic and lost for most of the story line. The music used in all of these stories sound so peaceful but there’s always a deeper meaning behind it that can hurt once you learn about it. I’ve honestly never met someone who can make such beautiful stories so easily. Tbh, I’m also practicing writing a lot and also art, so MXTX is sort of like a role model/idol for me XD When I first read MDZS, I realised, the story I’ve been writing for a while now is a bit similar to MDZS, when it comes to how sad and tragic everything is. But I’ve still got a lot to learn!!! (Also my story is also a romance but the problem is I don’t know how to depict the relationship between my two character perfectly-.- I know this is awkward but if anyone knows what it’s like to fall in love please help me bc I want it to be super realistic DX)

My favorite out of these 3 novels (masterpieces) is Tian guan ci fu or Heaven Official's blessing. MXTX is awesome. I don't know how she got all these ideas, creativity, imagination, etc. to make these distinct different worlds with such great storylines and characters, but I am so grateful. She hit the nail on the head. Not to mention the chemistry between the couples is awesome.

Uhm, currently crying, because two nights ago, I didn't sleep because my mind went on a TGCF rant about the characters and analysing the novel for the nth time. And I realised something. And it hit hard and cut deep. Basically I want to offload that I know who little ghost boy Lang Ying is. HE'S LANG YING'S SON💙😭😭 (The guy Xie Lian gave the red pearl to)😭😭😭

I was thinking about it at night and the clues are kinda there. Lang Ying (the father) buries his son in the grass of Xian Le Kingdom, which is where Xie Lian meets him. sometime later, we have the first victim, who is running around and screaming. He is then quarantined. We then have a few more patients. We then have the whole goose chase of them trying to find out where this disease came from, and it is discovered it is a curse. The Xian Le Trio then go over everything and discover that it was mainly the people in the outskirts that were being infected, and I think they all passed by the same tree, or brought it home to other people. Sometime later then we start to have the spiral of them looking for a cure, and the people get quarantined and that area is off limits. Evidence eventually leads to it have coming from the Yong'An people, although Xie Lian does not want to believe that, because it complicates things. Xie Lian thinks that no Yong'An people have been there recently. Xie Lian and company are going over everything and Xie Lian realises why the area quarantined seemed familiar to him. The curse had to have sprung from someone with great resentment from Yong'An who was still in there with them. The thing with springing a curse is that the person springing it gets the effects themselves. They go there and dig up the boy's grave and burn him, (Who is still in the bag, mind you). The little boy who got buried would have had a lot of resentment towards Xian Le because he died of starvation and thirst. This little boy would have been the one who sprang the curse, meaning he would have faced in him too. Years later, Xie Lian meets a little ghost boy claiming to be from Yong'An. But Xie Lian thinks that no one from Yong'An ever had the Human Face Disease. And if course, with his mindset, he thinks he downstairs his mission or that his accomplice (Wu Ming) didn't get all of the souls before combusting. Later on they name the ghost boy Lang Ying, which just so happens to be his father's name in sound except the Ying is from Xiao Ying. (The girl with the hole in her skirt at the beginning of the novel from the temple where Nan Feng, Fu Yao and Xie Lian were hiding). SO, that's how I knew, I basically connected to dots. Tldr; The patient zero/ curse Springer of the Human Face Disease, would have the same effects as the curse they are springing. No one else from Yong'An had the disease, although the curse came from the Yong'An people. The little ghost boy Lang Ying is from Yong'An and has the Human Face Disease, making him the person who sprang the curse. (Also he's dead because he died of starvation and thirst, and his father buried him in the Xian Le Kingdom, making his resentment string enough the spring a curse) This is what really makes me love Heaven Official's Blessing. You have to read between the lines

This song is from the three novels written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. I really recommend reading them. After you finish one novel, you'll surely thirst for more and end up reading all of her novels. Though I do have to warn you, all of her novels consist of Shounen Ai themes, albeit mostly mild. The novels are very plot driven with sprinkles of romance here and there but mostly at the end. To start off, people usually first discover "The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation," the most famous of MXTX' works. There are many adaptations of this novel such as a donghua (Chinese Anime), a manhua (Chinese Manga?), a drama CD, and a live action drama (Chen Qing Ling). If you do not like BL I highly suggest you still try the donghua and the live action. Because of Chinese censorship, homosexual themes are prohibited in mainstream media. Despite this, the donghua and the live action still closely follow the original events in the novel. If you are not fond of romance then please still give this a shot since the plot and the characters are very well written. Next up will be "The Scum Villains Self-Saving System." This is MXTX first book. I know a lot of straight male readers who enjoyed this for the plot despite the Shounen Ai elements (though like I said, the gay romance is pretty tamed apart from the climax). The thoughts of the story's protagonist are very funny. Though there's a lot of comedy (thanks to Shen Yuan's inner monologues), like all of MXTX' novels, there is still a good amount of angst and fluff so the story will definitely an emotional rollercoaster ride (this statement is applicable to all of her novels, tbh). As for the adaptations of her first novel... Let's just say that it isn't very blessed. I'll keep it short and skip over this since this message is already rather long. Her third novel is Heaven Official's Blessing. It's the longest novel with 240+ chapters and also more romance centered (at least in my opinion). If you don't like Shounen Ai, there's a donghua coming and because of Chinese censorship, it'll most likely tame down the romance. It would be a "sworn brotherhood" plot I think. There is also the manhua, illustrated by starember, and boi. This manhua is a masterpiece. The art is MMMMMMMM. Every panel is beauty. AT THE VERY LEAST, check out the art. So pretty, good lord. A lot of people say tgcf isn't angsty, but it doesn't mean it's painful as hell. I have read adult fantasy, YA, other danmei like 2HA, but TGCF still remains my one of my favorites, partly because I love XL's character so much. He looks amazing in his prince outfit here.
