Ephemeral Rift

Күн бұрын

Enjoy an Hour of a variety of tapping sounds (~25 objects) in binaural (ear to ear) with no speaking. This is something I've been meaning to do for like a year now (and part of a promise to one particular viewer who sent me a Walking Dead poster) and something I recently promised in a recent video. I tried to duplicate the natural randomness of tapping like the sound of rain and tried to avoid any rhythmic unnatural tapping. Sometimes I tapped slow. I tried a variety of patterns to see what methods might trigger you.
Unfortunately I cannot do anything about the "hum" in the background. It's an environment issue beyond my control. If all goes well I hope I can resolve this knock on wood when we move out of our current residence.
I hope you enjoy. :)

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.

i suffer really bad with insomnia and your carpet scratching videos are life savers and i think this one will be too. i feel its mandatory for me to say thank you ,and even though many people think you're a weirdo for these videos, id like you to keep being weird (in what ever way you want to be) as it helps me and many others sleep a little (or a lot ) better . thank you so much xx

I discovered carpet and cement floor sweeping while in jail several years ago. We had to lock down at 10:30 but trustees got to stay out to clean the rock. They would sweep slowly, methodically and I found it knocked me out almost instantly! I didn't know what ASMR was, and I wasn't gonna tell Bubba that I got the tingles when he swept, else I would've had a honey bun on my bed the next day. You learn new things about yourself when you're isolated from the internet, your music, your books, and your freedom. In the absence of some good pussy, ASMR is the next best thing.

Just an idea. I'd like to see an ASMR Artist record their session as normal with just the sound. Where then, the video would be an animated short story which could interpret the sound of what is happening... For instance, tapping could be someone walking. fast tapping is runnning. The ting of metal is something dropped by a character.... Just an idea that would be interesting to see. No words just an animated ASMR storyline.

I don't mind the hum, in fact I prefer that it be there. It's somewhat hard to notice over the white noise machine I have in my room that I use at night, which goes to show you how much I like that kind of sound. I quite like having white noise as a background to ASMR videos. I like the way it fills up the spectrum of sound, though mine is lacking some lower frequencies, I think. Mine works with air to make the sound, or at least I would assume so.
