You'll get the bird(s) eventually! Wild Event was okay. I didn't buy a ticket and only got two Community Day shinies. Four or so hundos (one was Mighty).

My shiny luck WITH the ticket wasn't too much to write home about, managed 16 shinies with 10 of those being from raids only 🤦‍♂️ 6 wild shinies with over 1500 catches for the weekend seems real low 😅 But still I loved the vibe in the community here, it more than made up for it.

Haha I love the little Easter eggs you find in a lot of pokemon names... like koffing and weezing - named after the actions one might do when encountered with a "gas" of sorts. Very fitting

Stuck in one location for all but 2 hours combined across both days as it stands with weekend events sadly. Thus no ticket as didn’t make sense to buy. Without ticket there wasn’t much point playing. Couldn’t catch mighty cos 1-2 safari balls everything ran and only shiny mighty I found caught past event time due to using ultra balls & it’s mighty stats were nuked.

Smart that you didn't buy the ticket knowing you wouldn't be able to really get the benefits from it efficiently, some still buying the ticket for the pure fact that it exists 🤦‍♂️ Thats good feedback (as sad as it was) though as it really shows how much more lucrative they're making the 'ticketed' experience despite the description in the app store forever reading "This app is free-to-play" offering in app purchases. Now we literally buy everything from tickets, to XP, stardust, research lines and increased shiny rates 🤯 XP used to be earned Now you can pay for it

@ with previous season I bought the extra gifting thing which contributed in me going up 90 million exp with all the friendship bonuses. That to me was definitely worth it but now I’m seeing 1-3 tickets per event it’s very much shameful.

Honestly the event would of been mean if I wasn't hunting shiny snorlax all weekend... 22 raids for my partner to get hers... and 68 raids for me... the thing is it was my final 200 pokecoins I spent to join a remote raid I was invited to before I got it... had to go to another country to get it after the game fung me dry lol... like wtf RNG really sucks mate

RNG really DOES suck brother, 100% agree there! My partner often pulls stuff much earlier than I do as well but I get the odd one up on her now and again. 68 raids for the snor is hella heavy compared to what a lot of others did, my mate down in Wellington went well over 100 without a shiny... that RNG again 🤦‍♂
