1 year later. Slight spoilers. She did beckon you when the man in the hat comes after you. If she truly was selfish she would have left mono behind, and if he did manage to catch up then good for him. But she didn’t, she stayed by as long as she could and even reached out for mono when he was unconscious. It is lead to believe that whatever the thin man had done, intentional or otherwise, to six had changed her. Turned her into a soulless uncaring husk of her former self perhaps.

The reason six betrays mono is first of all ln1 takes place after ln2 so in ln2 when thinman captures six it leaves behind the good part of her soul which is shadow six or glitch six and since her good soul is gone or complete soul idk but thats why she betrays mono and the reason she eats everything is because she's trying to eat living things to claim their soul and it's why she ate the nome aka runaway kid in the end of the guest area since the sausage isn't alive and she finally claims a soul by eating the lady and once she escapes since shes stranded on the top of the maw she probably becomes the sixth lady so she probably wouldve taken mono with her if she didnt get captured by thinman but also thinman isnt tryna kill mono hes trying to capture him so the timeloop cant continue

Played and finished this game when it first came out, with my now soon to be 12 year old daughter. I introduced her to Little Nightmares, We finished Little Nightmares together taking turns. We bonded, it's as if I were Mono and she was Six. I'd help her whenever she got stuck. This song reminds me of our relationship 😭

so basically lore so far is (if you wanna treat the second game as a sequel) very little nightmares starts it all, original girl in the yellow raincoat falls to her death with the pretender, taking out the antagonist of the story and herself, mysterious girl (six) takes the raincoat. Then boarding the raft at the bottom of the cliff. along the way she meets up with the ferryman out to find another child, mysterious girl (six) is taken on the ferryman boat, tied up and this is where the first little nightmares comic comes in. She is brought successfully to the maw, then encounters one of the twin chef's shortly before the opening of the 1st game. she escapes through an air vent, meeting up with 5 other children. each child tells their story of what happened to them, then a leach leaps out, swallowing one of the children. They all scramble and six escapes presumably to wake up in a suitcase, starting off the first game. If you wanna treat the second game as a prequel, than it would go like this. very little nightmares starts it all, original girl in the yellow raincoat falls to her death with the pretender, taking out the antagonist of the story and herself, a mysterious girl (six) takes the raincoat, then boards the raft. She stops at the forest, wandering around and then being caught by the hunter. She escapes him, throwing a rock to distract him and get away. While running from him, she looks up and spots a young boy with a paper bag on his head (Mono). Then hearing a snap behind her, she turns to see the hunter has caught up. The hunter captures her, bringing her to his shack. A couple days later, mono uses his power to teleport himself somewhere in the wilderness. He looks around, feeling guilty for being the reason six was caught. (the second game starting now.) He finds her, the music box aiming him where to go. There are tally marks all around the walls, and he walks up to six. She then runs away like in the game. At the end of the game, six is saved by mono, but a small part of her memory is taken as well, In her experiences with the thin man in the tower (before mono saved her) She's probably able to see his face and what he looks like, and due to her soul being lost when she was first taken by the thin man. she is slightly fatigued and a bit of her memory was lost, only being brought back after the events of the second game. at the ending scene of the second game, six is holding up mono with one hand, in his face, she see's the thin man, and in her state of fatigued mind, she doesn't know who Mono is, just that he looks like the person that hurt her. So she drops him. She runs back to the portal, entering a room with a poster of the maw on it. She transports to the maw, then she encounters one of the twin chef's shortly before the opening of the 1st game. she escapes through an air vent, meeting up with 5 other children. each child tells their story of what happened to them, then a leach leaps out, swallowing one of the children. They all scramble and six escapes presumably to the suitcase we see her wake up in, starting off the first game.

This is such a beautiful song when I first heard it, I knew that Mono and Six were going to be fine as long as him and her had each other...Now on repeat playthroughs it fills me with a sadder feeling knowing poor Mono's fate. I understand why Six did it they are kids and Mono just destroyed her precise music box. She probably dropped him in a fit of childish rage.
