It's so great to find ASMR that is soft spoken rather than whispered. You'd be amazing at narrating audiobooks.

Agree . The whispering is odd
@1jotun1363 ай бұрын
I much prefer soft spoken to whispering.
@dustins3822 ай бұрын
Whispering is very harsh if you don't change certain consenants. For example, "s" should be switched to "th" for a softer sound. It's not natural but it definitely reduces harshness. Better to just have a more natural soft spoken talk because we are used to it.

I don't believe any of this from a medical perspective, as she said placebo.... but it still is very relaxing to listen to!
@AbsoluteTrans5 ай бұрын
Why? Placebo and nocebo is pretty much the same thing (and scientifically proven), it's pretty much just the outcomes that are different
@Curhy5 ай бұрын
Placebo is a real phenomenon backed up my numerous studies but the extent of its is effects is definitely something you can argue. Many people overestimate what can be done using placebo.
@ToruKurosawa5 ай бұрын
@@Curhy I was more referring to the other medical information in the video. I agree with what you are saying about placebo but that's all it is. She is sort of claiming that its not placebo and the information she is giving is accurate. Which we know it isn't.

Im a physiotherapy student, i think people would be very surprised to know how little evidence there is for A LOT of different medical treatments. Most of the evidence for the effectiveness of massage is anecdotal. While there a proliminary findings for temporary low back pain relief and improvement in osteoarthritis pain in cancer patient's theres not a whole lot of other evidence other than the things that she mentioned. It feels nice, physocal contact can help psychologically. To all the people knocking it because theres no scientific grounds for it, i implore you to actually look into medical research and what its finding are, i think youll be very shocked

That’s so interesting that the pineal gland is on the side of the thumb. When you see monks and yogis meditating cross legged and have their thumb and index touching (it’s called a mudra), the index finger touches that same spot on the thumb. Makes total sense, it helps activate your pineal gland, or third eye.

Excellent video and very relaxing to watch. Very similar to the auricular reflexology. I do Reiki 2 and NADA along with ear reflexology but I tend to only stick to the ear as I’m learning more acupuncture points there too. Unfortunately Ive not been able to start my own treatment service yet as the nursing takes priority at the moment - being a charge nurse I have too maintain my registration. I tend to only stick to a few people who I know at the moment to do this and will be doing reiki and NADA on renal patients shortly ☺️ You have a great calming personality. X
