It’s really sad because the Organ is such a beautiful instrument and such a very unique one at that. Really hope the population and popularity of the organ doesn’t completely disappear. Straight pipe organs outside of church are very rare anymore. It's sad. I was lucky enough in college to have access to a huge church organ and the keys to the side entrance so I was permitted to just go in and play it after hours. I was never good enough to be a "pro", but I had a great time with the incredible music that the 4/64 Kilgen would put out even at the command of my feeble fingers. This recording brings back so many great memories of that sound.
