It's sad he lives in the neighboring country and has no idea how to pronounce it. Guarantee he's heard the word "Cymru" spoken before.
@elliebelliebooКүн бұрын
@@aytcsI mean realistically it’s not that common to hear Welsh even in most parts of wales, it’s very sad but given the history of the language being banned it’s not surprising, it’s also a very hard language to learn, my neighbours are half Welsh but only know about 10 words. My cousins have a Welsh grandmother and they only know how to carry an extremely simple and short conversation
@opheliamillwardКүн бұрын
hurt my little welsh heart. For a man who’s last name is welsh he’s not living up to the title
@aytcsКүн бұрын
@@elliebelliebooThat's so sad. I'm in the US and learned Welsh about 10 years ago. I know only about 20% of people in Wales speak Welsh but even if you don't speak it, I feel like the name of the country in Welsh is something someone who lives so close would have heard at least once. I know what a ton of countries are called in their own languages, even though I may not speak those languages or have ever been there.
