It warms my heart that Poliwag received so much attention. When I was a kid I roleplayed Pokemon adventures like Ash in the anime would have and I randomly chose a Pokemon from my tazos to because my "Pikachu" - the Pokemon I got was Poliwag. I got a plushie and imagined tons of different adventures together with my Poliwag buddy.

10:18 It actually is possible to faint to this poochyena, but it requires rolling really low defense stats and the poochyena landing a crit on the last hit. IIRC the game continues as normal with the dialogue afterward acting like you won, but there are similar tutorial setups in other pokemon games that crash if you manage to lose

Depends on the person, atleast where I grow up there was a lot of noises since I was raised on a really loud city which it might sound annoying but it gives relief that you not alone, when I move to the states everything way calmer so I almost depend on this type of videos 😭

I had no idea that the azure flute was from an UNUSED event. A friend used an action replay to give me the flute on my copy of pearl, and with the flute, the event triggered like normal. I thought it was just an event that i missed all this time. Turns out my Arceus is more special than i thought.

In addition to the Gen 1 Ditto glitch, you can use that glitch to get a Shiny Ditto. Transfer the Shiny Gyrados from Gold/Silver/Crystal to a Gen 1 game. Find a Ditto. Make sure Ditto uses transform. Make sure it uses transform again. Catch the Ditto. The Ditto has now copied the Gyrados's stats and DVs. Transfer to G/S/C, bam, shiny ditto.

Iirc he got the wild Pokémon to win by having a starter(Chimchar?) with really bad Defense EVs and the wild mon getting a crit while he was in the yellow. Also, thanks for giving him credit in the Metang one. I. Remember seeing his video on that one, and him trying to break down the possibilities. 3:22 Tajiri's point about how he thought Japanese fans didn't get the human aspect of the games... I would actually say that the kids buying the Pikachu toy without Ash may actually be showing that same aspect, as instead of having Ash be Pikachu's trainer, they themselves become Pikachu's trainer. I mean, some kids may have wanted to play as to Ash with Pikachu, but others may want to be the trainer themselves, having their own adventures with their own Pikachu. I mean, the games even let you name the trainer, is it not supposed to be you being the trainer? That you're the one raising them and caring for them?

Did you know that in the Silph Tower, if you battle the trainer with a Ditto using a Ditto, you softlock the game as it will result in both Dittos using transform, which gives them an infinite amount of PP as when you transform, you get 5 PP of each move that Pokémon has.

Plus I think the Pokémon you listed are the Pokémon you can play as/race against. My guess is the MLP mini game is just a reskin of Team Turbo
