I have an alternate theory as to why the word "Pow" was removed from the Chinese release of the Mario game. I've been living in China for 10 years and when I heard the word "pow," I said "yeah, that makes sense." The reason is the word "pow," phonetically sounds like the Chinese word “炮” pào. This character has became a slang term associated with sex. For example, one way to say have sex is 炮炮.

It's crazy to think how old the Switch is at this point! It seems it was just yesterday that it was revealed and blew everyone away! Although it's a great system, I think it's starting to show its age, some games are having a lot of performance issues, so let's hope its successor will bring more power to the table!

I really wish Pokemon Legends Arceus sold better. It's one of my favorite pokemon games ever, the series has so much potential too. Imagine a Arceus type game set in ancient Egypt or Rome. Seeing how pokemon evolved (or devolved) in those environments, how people employ the pokemon to do work. Man we'll never get any of that at this rate
