16:48 this is actually so cool, you were just below activating the charrogg effect when the axe was thrown, and then dodged while the axe was coming back so it hit the charrogg UE on the return hitbox on fenroar wow. i always forget the return hitbox even exists because it's so rare to hit. funny to see it proc something that the initial throw didn't

I love playing axe with part damage and crit multiplier because once I literally throw it and instantly break a part of chronovore and like that I feel like nothing can take me down anymore. It's really a great feeling when playing axe in dauntless, man.

10:18 you can just do this without jumping now btw, at some point I swear Koshai's boop hitbox got decreased so Axe can just stand still and charge the hit and then react by letting go, it's honestly the most comfortable weapon for Koshai interrupts now. Feels very good, it's even easy to do it backwards as well with your camera turned, then you can lead the boop into a full combo

12:39 man Axe feels so sad like, you don't even get to build metre once or even do a single combo finisher before a fight ends in Esca. It feels weird how unless there's full staggerlock or a behemoth with very non-threatening attacks Axe just feels so messy like, the weapon is fun but you just end up doing most of your damage without really doing the fun part of the weapon. The combos feel good, and you need max attack speed to even be able to use one even if you get a damage opening like a part break

I mainly play it because I’m a simpleton who’s just like “I see big numbers on the screen so I’m happy” but your right it is pretty messy to play since I can’t even sit and use attacks that aren’t tempest or the throw

Coming from someone with hundreds of hours in both. Dauntless isn’t nearly as Good, but it’s free so what can you really expect? I enjoy it a lot and still play it even though I can play MH, it’s definitely more chill
