This thing was close enough for us to realise, that this wasnt a person. It was a sunny day, our eyes did not play a trick on us. We ran out of the woods as fast as we could. When i was a kid. Like maybe 5 or 6. I looked out my window one night across the road to the neighbors house. We lived well off the beaten path. So it was the only house across the road. They had the blinds closed, but the light was on so you could make out the shape of the shadows behind the blinds. I saw the shadow of a woman standing there. Then outta nowhere a box looking shadow came over her, and she disappeared.. Turns out a man had suffocated his wife to death with a pillow in that house. To this day, i have no idea if i witnessed it. Or if it was just my 6 year old imagination.

The story about coming home and finding blood everywhere happened in my family, too. My eldest sister was in her early teens, and came home to a kitchen with a lot of blood in it and no one was home. Being 1985 or so, we didn't have cell phones so she couldn't find out where we were. She didn't think to call the police or hospital, but hoped there been a simple medical emergency and not a murder and just sat, hoping to see the rest of us very soon. At that moment I was at the hospital getting my finger sewn. I had cut it quite badly. Mom says I almost cut it off completely but I don't believe it. I have a small scar near the top of my index finger. I think that sometimes cuts look worse than they are and she was a panicked mom. What had happened was that while my parents were making dinner and backs were turned, I had touched the edge of a can. I think that cans were worse back then for cuts. I feel worse for my sister and family than myself. 😅

The spider story had me crying of laughter 😂😂😂 About the roommates that had strange things happen to them and found human teeth in the House, WHY DID NO ONE CALL THE POLICE?!?!? As for the last one, it reminded me of the game "until dawn". I'll look it up again but it seems to align with the game's story. Edit: i forgot about the story of the abandoned place with a bunch of kid's shoes. Isn't that an instance where you call the police as well? What if there was child trafficking going on, at least at some point? Rather than being creeped out that story made me sad and worried about the kids

I got up to get a drink of water during a thunderstorm as I’m heading back I’m not sure what compelled me but I stared at clouds which were grey from being illuminated by the town. when lightning struck I saw what I can only say was what people believe a demon to be but it was hunched on one of those old school bar ellipticals. 9 years old with an older brother, but your dad was a “20 year old police officer”? They also claim that their dad wasn’t in the tower when it collapsed because it wasn’t his shift. Give me a break. When the WTC was attacked and right before the towers came down, no one in that area (other than victims higher up in the building) was there because it was their shift; especially police officers. In that scenario, he would have been wherever he was needed. Jesus Christ. If you’re going to lie about shit on Reddit, at least make it believable.
