Some 15 years ago I was sitting and having dinner with my best friends in my courtyard behind the house. We were at the age of 22 yrs maybe, young fellas and rare at that age who listened to the Blues. I inserted CD "Riding with the King" by Eric Clapton and B.B. King. At one moment the track "Three O'Clock Blues" began to play... and it struck me so much that I remember even today the words I told them: "This is so good that it hurts!". I could've felt literally how much each note hits my heart and soul. Only soulless people can never feel the emotion that Blues have. Your playlist is amazing @Don'sTunes and thank you for sharing with all the Blues lovers these perfect and timeless tunes!

Of course times have changed, people have figured out how to make a shitload of money making simple beats and saying the same 4 lines over and over again. But it’s music like this that makes people go ‘wow’. When I’m hanging out in my garden with buddies and having a lovely glass of wine or and ice-cold beer with a fire basket glowing with heat, music like this is what makes people go silent and enjoy the moment. These moments are things I live for. Everyone is completely relaxend and chilled out, nothing to worry about, no stress, no nothing. Blues, whispers closely straight into your ear; you hardly need to listen, you'll hear it. It melts like cotton candy. Beautiful. Next to classical, for me, no language makes more sense. I recommend getting deeper into Melvin Taylor... an incredible talented guitar player that unfortunately stayed north of fame and success. As strange as it may, Melvin Taylor has a bigger fan base in France than in the USA. Paris is a blues and jazz scene like no other capital in the world!
