I've been on a train ride to nowhere for so long. People wonder why do some like these dark horror games. To me it's because it gives an odd comfort. Perhaps one could say an escape but also a relatability. That's why I always liked the horror games like silent hill because it reminded me of my own struggles but also to keep trying. These games the characters face dark and terrible atrocities, horrifying events, & disturbing, all alone often times. In situations most average people could never handle. Yet they continue persevering.

I remember being literally scared of SH1 on the PS1 in the late '90s. Becoming engrossed in the mysterious Historical Society foretold in SH2. I also remember buying this game, SH3, in 2004 on the day it came out. For me, the ambiance is the most sobering aspect of the original trilogy. There are lots of survival horror games out there now, but experiencing the first three in a home with no internet or smartphones evoked a sense of dread and introspection like few horror games since then have managed to do. The only one that comes close today isn't a game, but the horror film Skinamarink. I recommend anyone who hasn't experienced the Silent Hill Trilogy the same way I did: turn off the phone, wait until evening, close the lights, and shut yourself off to the world.

Yeah. Depression can make your head feel less noisy since you stop caring about most things that you would worry about usually. Paradoxically, depression can give you some sort of tranquility because you are used to having endless things to worry about. I think it is our brain telling us to turn inward to work through the depression naturally which is easier with less distracting thoughts
@piggregious498611 ай бұрын
I've Autism and comorbidities that make life challenging. My diet and circadian rhythms have been distributed recently, and I'm utilizing your content to achieve tranquility in my life. I'm not depressed or anxious, but rather reflective and melodramatic. I'm in a limbo between tragedy and triumph. Taking accountability as an adult can be overwhelming. There's much to do and see, and you don't even know if you'll have the sanity for it all. I know it's easy to say "grow up" and move along, but if you're ignorant of your journey, then what good is the destination? Some of us exist for a profound purpose, and others live solely to fulfill their desires. Both situations require sacrifices. Many are too disordered to make them. Endure things methodically, patiently, and realistically, and you may see the light. Never take yourself out of the equation. You matter more than you realize, for good AND bad. 2024 begins in 6 days. There are 365 days in a year. Let's use them wisely.

third world country here, I would be so blessed to take a ride in that empty train with rusty seats.

Sitting in the car, drinking, smoking and listening to this for hours. No melody, no rhythm, no lyrijs, no vocsls. Just void and emptiness.

I love how more than half of the video has the 'most replayed.' I've never seen that before.

I love to imagine that I`m sitting in a train, with that one person I always think about and just talk with her, endlessly. For some reason, after playing such games like Silent Hill or Cry of Fear, I always either imagine or dream of being there with her. I wish it would be easier for us. I love her, yet everything is too hard nowadays..

I feel constant fatigue and anxiety. My studies are challenging for me, and I feel worthless. But this music helped me distract myself from negative thoughts, and I believed that I am a good person, and that everything will definitely work out for me.
