i love when small tech KZbinrs make better content than most famous channels without cluttering the viewing experience and making it straightforward, also new sub!!

So to answer the question about the Vista startup, it's the fallback loading screen and is technically faster, since Starter edition is designed for extremely slow hardware it saves off a couple seconds of boot time and a few MB's off the install. On a normal copy of Windows 7 you can actually enable it yourself.
@RBVJnt2 күн бұрын
Starter does container the normal boot screen. The Vista boot screen appears when the screen is too small for the normal loading animation to fit.

and the fact that Starter edition has a limit of 2GB RAM and x86 only

The Vista startup screen appears when the screen resolution is below 1024x768, and this netbook only has 1024x600, for some reason it also appears on windows 8 and above if the graphics card is acting weird or too old that only shows low color depth

the best buy sticker means that it was brought into best buy before, AP puts that sticker so they know it was brought in from outside and not stolen. usually cause they're taking it to geek squad. kind of funny they left the sticker on for that long

That’s pretty interesting about the sticker, I didn’t know that.

a few things you should change in your intro to make it less confusing for new viewers: 1. remove audio from videos in intro 2. make the music a bit louder. 3. edit it a lil better 4. just make it better in general

I also have one, but mine is Atom N475 variant. I upgraded it to 2GB RAM and running Windows 10 1511 x64 (it can't go past Windows 10 1809 when on HDD, it will go bad, and can't go past Windows 11 24H2 due to SSE4.2 requirement) The only difference that, yours is on good shape, shiny screen but mine have crazy lines on screen, upper left portion of lcd is cracked and doesn't display any except green and white cracks. My down button is broken. The netbook still runs fine though, just suffering with a bad LCD

I want to see you attempt to run emulators for high powered gaming systems on it.

It will stutter a lot (just for ps2, anything above won't even run)

@rayphoenix7296Күн бұрын
@@TechSimplified910 I recommend starting with something somewhat impressive like Ps1 and/or N64. I had a computer like that once and the most I got to run on it was SNES and GBA.

I have the same model of computer but doesn’t have operating system, how can I get windows 7 again?
@TechSimplified9102 күн бұрын
So the best way to get Windows 7 starter back on this computer is to get a USB thumb drive go to the Internet archive.com and download Windows 7 starter ISO and then use a software called Rufus which also you can download from Google and go through the steps on creating a USB portable thumb drive
@TechSimplified9102 күн бұрын

I had a Samsung NC110 with the exact same specs, I got it for free. it didnt take too long to find out why it was randomly given for fee by my neighbours. It is horrendously unusable even with 2gig ram and ssd's will do little to no difference. Even debian, archlinux with mate/xfce will run badly, even though 64bit cpu. And I just did a bidet shower blast water test and destroyed it
