Assalamu Alaykum, could you please provide the reference for what happened in 12:00 (Imam Ali علیه السلام) defending Uthman's house? I could not find any ahadith relating to this. It would be really appreciated to know where this event was documented and why it happened.

I know Imam Abbas is the son of Imam Ali A.s, but why he doesn't count as 12 Imam?

There are other Holy characters in Islamic History besides 12 Shia Imams and Hazrat Abbas ibn Ali is definitely one of them. Imamat is a position appointed by God and He chooses who to become an Imam.

Yeh, The position of imamat is given to the descendants of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) through his youngest daughter Fatemah al-zahra (a.s.) and Hazrat Abbas ibn-ali was not the son of Imam Ali ibn-abi Talib (a.s.) AND Fatemah ibn-Muhammad (a.s.)
