You can use acrylic if you don’t plant to wash it. Or there is a fabric paint medium you can add to acrylic and I think that makes it washable.

I can’t have jingle bells or wind chimes in my house. Dog is petrified by the sound. He literally has a meltdown just seeing them.🤷‍♀️
