Pastor Guzik, Jesus two greatest commandments, thou shalt love the Lord your God..... and love your neighbor as yourself, sound very straightforward but are very difficult to keep. Even among siblings let alone people in the world and brothers and sisters in the church. Most of all our love for Christ and His Word, do we do this when in church only or all the day long? Such simple commands yet so hard to carry out. I'm thankful daily for your explanation of God's Word.

My pastor called me / my actions disgusting. I boycotted because I seen the same mistakes getting repeated. I shared some news about the miscarriage my wife and I had . I shared it at the pulpit. Thinking the confession would stay at the pulpit. Couple days later at a disciple ship class the teachers at the class knew about the miscarriage, but they weren’t at the pulpit that day and the teachers of the discipleship class are good friends with my old pastor. I want to be comfortable confessing sin . I just want to trust again especially those in the body of Christ .

It's surprising isn't it. You probably grew up like me in a family that didn't tolerate gossip. You get a job and keep your nose to the grindstone. Maybe you never had time for foolishness, or it was not permitted. I never heard gossip until I started going to church. The first day, I took my children to Sunday school class, where the Sunday school superintendent was gossiping with the church secretary. As it turns out, we have all fallen short. We all got here because we saw a light that drew us in. The important thing, I think, is to look to Jesus as the example I want to be like. But we are all in that boat in the storm, trying to get across the raging sea. We all need to row until the last one of us runs out of faith. Then, together, we call on Jesus. And he comes to us walking on the water. Not just to me, but to us.

Chuck Smith ,very poignantly stated the CHURCH as long it has love the CHURCH will survive any evils.
