Matthew 2:11: And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Matthew 14:33: And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” Matthew 28:9-10: And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. “8 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” Romans 2

I have been struggling so much with the timing of the tribulation If it’s post-trib then I imagine that perspective. we will essentially know when Jesus is coming back. We would not have the urgency to bring people to Jesus because we know we have time. If we are here for the tribulation we’ll know when there’s a peace treaty signed with Israel. We will know 3.5 years after that it will be broken. We will know that there will be 3.5 years after that. We don’t have to run out and bring people to Jesus now because we can wait until the tribulation starts because we have time. It hasn’t started yet. We can just spread the gospel when the tribulation starts because we know we’d have 7 years until Jesus came and “more proof” for the unbelievers. This does not spark an urgency to spread the gospel to me. This is why the post tribulation doesn’t make sense If I sit myself in pre trib then I have no idea if it could be literally any day now- like, tonight THAT perspective gives me the urgency to spread the gospel. The pre trib gives me the totally unknown time of Jesus’ arrival. Not a solid 7 year estimate. I have been praying fervently about this. I have tried to believe post tribulation. Maybe it’s because I think I deserve the angst, fear, pain that trying to avoid the mark of the beast would bring me. I imagine having to get my head cut off in front of my children or end up in hell. I think I ought to go through that because of the sin in my nature. But when I stop looking at the timing, and instead, look to God, I’m shown I DONT deserve it. And my gruesome tribulation death wouldn’t justify my salvation. I am not saved by my works. Nor by the tribulation I’ve had to endure. I’m saved by God alone. From His grace alone. And the idea that “why shouldn’t I suffer like the apostles did and get stoned/beheaded. How am I better than them to not go through that?” That perspective instantly puts my worth/salvation/fate into a “deserve” position. And the entire point of the gospel is that it is not about what we deserve. Thank GOD

this also brought about a stamp of God, that only God could do ... how likely was Elijah's survival out there without the ravens or faith in God, about as good as Cubs fan down four runs in the 9th inning, highly unlikely.

now there is a new insight I never considered and overlooked, the unclean beak - imagine how Elijah like Peter a devout Jew would think about the conflict, unclean beak (Gentile/animal) or God's will or die of thirst and hunger hanging onto tradition and religious letter-of-the-law principle. Amazing how God works. God will use whom He will. Good or bad.

This is really only half to which Jesus referred. You forgot about the rich man. Verse 13 of Luke 16:1-13, says "no servant can serve two masters, for he will hate the one and love the other, ... You cannot serve God and money." What about Matthew 6:22-24. "The eye is the lamp of the body." Verse 24 starts with "No one can serve two masters...You cannot serve God and money." If you do not see the suffering of your fellow man or his needs, then you have an evil eye, but if you see the need and help with his needs, then you have a "good eye" and people can see your soul through your eyes how you see the world.

Thank you Pastor David for bringing great spiritual food!! Great word! Right timing! GOD is always on time!I So needed to hear this today!Needed to be reminded not to despise the ravens. God wants me here right where I am,even though I have at times thought it was so hard, and made everything to be harder than it is. I’m supposed to be here and I wouldn’t trade it for anything because I am being drawn by God in so many ways, I see more his great love for me and I just wanna honor and obey and Love him more. I want to thank you for your work that you do for the Lord Pastor David, because I study the Bible asking the Holy Spirit to reveal his word and you help in this so much! so very much appreciate your hard work and your knowledge of the Bible!

Pastor Guzik, Jesus two greatest commandments, thou shalt love the Lord your God..... and love your neighbor as yourself, sound very straightforward but are very difficult to keep. Even among siblings let alone people in the world and brothers and sisters in the church. Most of all our love for Christ and His Word, do we do this when in church only or all the day long? Such simple commands yet so hard to carry out. I'm thankful daily for your explanation of God's Word.

In the Covid time church members were abandoned in the hospital. Nowadays Christians are rejected by the church leaders if they have problems or health issues. Why? The problem is the same and escalating : Churchy folks has no faintest idea of Christ like character. They see men on the stage, saying "this is the teaching" of the Lord. But he is a rabi. He is among the people. Mending woodwork, chariot, houses. Mending lives. Being among them. Teaching character - not saying... When the model and the new_Testament High_priest character is being restored : The place for the Mighty & His Mighty Spirit is restored. Next step : Ps 22 He is sitting on the praises. Next step : We are to watch his hand moving.. :-)

Encouragement. But. Let it be more precise : · This is the New Testament. · This is the era of the corporate prayer - steadfastly. Royal Priesthood 1Pt 2:9 · This is the era - far above the 10 commands · This is the era of being free from the Levitical reflexes /dynamics /political biases.!!! · Today Jesus christ is the High Priest according to Melchizedek. · He is Far Above any spirits. · Before Abraham was - He IS. Please restore your perspective - and the enemy will go. Be restored according to the New ID! {but there's no place for Bruce Willis in the Gospel}

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together. 18 He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything. Colossians 1:15

*Your thoughts and insight on the Edomites was very informative. Edom being used symbolically of YHVH’s judgement, reminds me of how I believe, Rahab is used of Egypt in Psalms and perhaps Isaiah.*
