I was shot in a "non-vital spot" technically. I was shot on the right side of my chest, the bullet shattered the 5th right rib in my back and ricochet down my right side and into my abdomen. I'd definitely rather deal with a knife lol. I have suffered permanent nerve and muscle damage on the right side of my back. It affects everything from my shoulder to my stomach. You don't really realize how reliant you are on your chest and side muscles when using your arm until they are damaged.

@rubydearest Thanks ❤️ yeh I am doing the best I can with what I got. I've been permanently disabled because of what happened and the damage it caused that can not be fixed. I think the only worst part of this is not being able to legally have a license due to involuntarily flinching from fast peripheral movements. There are work arounds for that, though. I just pay young adults who need the driving hours to drive me where I need to go with my car. It benefits both me and them and allows them some freedom to be able to have access to my vehicle.

If the question of getting shot or stabbed, is solely talking about the pain of it, and not the “non fatal” injuries you’d receive from both. Then I’d pick getting shot, the pure pain if they both go just as deep is more even than it seems, however the bullet being lodged in the body, will go numb at some point.
