Shravan month is on. There is a tradition to do Satyanarayan puja at home during this month. SO prasadacha sheera is a must for puja. We already have seen a recipe of prasadacha sheera but today we are making it in large quantity. This tastes just awesome. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1/4 kg Ghee
• 1/4 kg fine Rava / Suji
• Sliced Almonds, Cashew nuts
• 2~3 Bananas chopped
• Few Raisins
• Nut meg powder
• 1/2 litre boiling hot Milk
• 1/4 kg Sugar
• Cardamom powder
• Tulasi leaves
Method:
• In a pan take ghee, keep a little aside.
• Add rava and mix well.
• Stir continuously and roast rava on medium heat until it gets nice,
even pink color.
• In other pan add left over ghee.
• Add almond slices, cashew slices and roast until these get light
golden color.
• Add banana and caramelize it nicely. Fry everything for about 4-5
minutes.
• Add raisins and mix well.
• Turn off the gas and add nut meg powder, mix well.
• You can skip nutmeg powder if you don’t like.
• When rava gets nice, even golden color add caramelized banana
and mix well.
• Add milk and mix well.
• Cover and cook until milk is absorbed for about 3-4 minutes.
• Remove the lid and mix well once.
• Add sugar and mix well.
• Add cardamom powder, tulasi leaves and mix well.
• Cover and cook on very low heat for just 5 minutes.
• Remove the lid and mix well again.
• Prasadacha sheera is all ready.
