I read this last week and I could not believe what had happened to the man of God. The fear of the Lord is the start of wisdom. Another, good delivery and bible guide from Pastor Daniel. God bless all the Maranatha church family.

3/10/24 The false prophet blasphemed the true GOD & lied to the dead prophet. He felt guilty for bringing death on the real prophet & yes, his conscience might have been revived about what is right in GOD’s eyes, when witnessing the lion next to the donkey with the dead body in the middle of both.; a strange event of restraint from a wild beast!!! Donkey=person or bad or misleading advice (Satan uses people, animals or things to mislead or harm.) Lion= GOD’s judgement for disobedience In Genesis, sin or death is introduced as a result of Eve eating the fruit & offering it to her husband, Adam, who ate of it, thus birthing sin or death to the entire human race. In this example, the false prophet also acted like the snake in the garden of Eden by enticing the real prophet into eating when GOD told him NOT to eat or drink anything & consequently bringing him death. This, false prophet dishonored the true GOD & his lineage & believed that it should have been, “he” who should have been dead, after he saw GOD’s judgement at play. He may have wondered if he was next.. Guilt may have been this false prophet’s companion through the rest of his life. He may have been a walking example to his village of disobedience. It’s possible that this false prophet wanted his bones buried with the true prophet because his conscience had been made alive. He may have also believed that if he was buried with his ancestors he might have brought a curse upon the rest of his lineage. What he did was a disgrace amongst humans. Some may have seen him as a type of murderer or bad omen. Was he a real prophet? Nowhere in the Bible does it say GOD appointed him as a real prophet & it was through his own mouth that he claimed to be a prophet, right? 1 John 4:1 “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” Remaining alive while carrying a load of guilt, is at times, for those with a conscience, worse than just being dead encased in a shadowy grave! Maybe this manipulative false prophet was used to lying throughout his entire life to many & thought that announcing his desire to be buried next to the bones of God’s prophet was a way to kindle the fire of rejection, to win sympathy or to win favor from his village & the Creator, GOD the almighty…. Some people are perpetual liars. Hebrews 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”
